To the right of the headlight selector switch. 2 thumb dials. The one on the right (farthest from light switch) I believe controls interior lites. If you turn them off though I believe your dash lites may be very dim. Double check that manual.:like:

That roof liner is sweet! I had a ‘92 GTi with a very German-esc interior. Loved it! I’m currently working on a ‘73 Porsche 914 GT resto. Again love the plaid German interiors. The combo you have with the tan/saddle seats is excellent! Great taste Steffan :rock:

:sun: Went for a nice drive with 1/2 the top off. The Mrs and my pup enjoyed with me. Yes my pup is anchored to the tow hook. Plenty of deer in the area and she’s an Elghund. She’s bred to track them. Didn’t want her to wander while I took a snap.

Ok,next! Well we did get an opportunity today to mount the Rubi rims and Falken tyres. My lift is currently occupied with a resto project, so luckily my my mechanic buddy let me use his shop lift. I tell you what, I was surprised by how much more the Rubi/tyres weigh compared to the Overlands...

Steffen believe it or not just bought a small roll of static cling tint from Pepboys I measured it and cut it for my field of vision. Sprayed some soapy water on and Wallah!

Since my Overland doesn’t have the “big black box” around the rear view mirror. The vertically challenged one here placed a tinted strip film up front. Cause every morning that big beautiful orange ball would sear my retinas, always where the visors weren’t. Problem solved.:like:

Thanks for the feedback. I haven’t purchased one yet. I just have the “Colorado “ bed cover on and the “Barricade” debris deflector. Hope to bolt on the Rubicon rims tomorrow.

On issue #1 I’d say it’s the adaptive transmission getting its self sorted out. Maybe give er a few more miles. I can detect mine downshifting as well but not as “fierce” as you described. Overall yes take it to the dealer have the tech ride shotgun with you. They should be able to plug in to...

Not explored the engine bay yet. Looks like an air intake maybe in conjunction with pcv or is it under the cowl for fresh air for the cabin? Someone who knows better will chime in.

Just posting in the “official”’sign in :rock: We took delivery on 8/31. Ordered on 7/17 It really is a fun vehicle. It’s pretty cool when a little boy in a Wrangler next to ya leans out his window and waves and says “hi, Jeep wave!” While his dad gives ya a thumbs up.

Hahahahaha, I wish! Nah they’re button head torx screws which fasten to a 3M tab system. Keeps all in place.

Added a deflection device to keep bad juju away. (ie windshields hazards) yeah I know optimism ;) It’s from Barricade.
