Ok fellas,
Contemplating a trailer. I like the trailer @Jowen has. It’s a little pricey.
But I get that it’s an all terrain kind of trailer. I’m thinking for now just a trailer
(enclosed) for additional luggage or odds n’ sods. Not necessarily for camping or overland, yet!
For instance...
 Congrats Steffen. Really enjoyed your write up & adventure day 1.
Enjoy that rig!
Baby steps on the health front. Work with your Doc and just count the calories and careful on the high cholesterol contributors.
A little bit of “strenuous “ activity a day will help. Now go get some...
Just saw this thread. Damn.
Sorry this happened. Glad no injuries.
That girl and her family just learned a hard lesson. This is going to be expensive for them. I’d hope you also had a police report.
Despite no injuries, another official document helps your cause. The police may or may not have...
Was told by my point man at the dealership that my Sting is tentatively scheduled to have an ETA of 8/17. If this is true I’ll expect to see it snowing in August :like:
Cause the tracker shows me nuthin except not found:(.
Jeep chat insists D1. All that is cool.
Fingers & toes...
Hey collective,
Question for ya’s that have their Gladiator or have previous Jeeps with the windscreen option. Is there a any
special concerns when doing this.
Aside from debris and animals coming in ;) is their a certain speed restriction. I guess my main concern is damage to glass while...
I don’t know what to make of this tracker.
Chat says one thing but tracker always says “not found” . Nice peeps Jeep chat but I’m not sure what info their really fed from factory. It’s like a shell game :movember:
As grandad used to say: “it’ll gets here whens it gets here” :tumbleweed:
Hmmm. Good question. Not sure since it’s expecting your original LED fog. Well everything is worth a try. Give it a go.
The factory must have a basic voltage programmed for that line and switch.
Maybe “fool” it. I’m still thinking regards to what voltage it sees to trigger it on.
Keep us...
LED are fussy creatures. They want and need a certain amount of voltage. No more no less. I’m not an electrician or engineer just basing it on my experience on lites for my other cars. The computer is prolly seeing a draw (maybe) not sure how smart it is.
The fogs prolly have a dedicated relay...
Here we are August 1 = D1.:time: Ordered 7/17
Seems like a lot of folks deliveries, aside from those with LE orders are hovering between 35-60 days.
Carry on.
You can pick up a cheap thread pitch gauge at HF or Lowe’s. Then one you have the spec go to the hardware aisle. I prefer McMaster Carr hardware supplies.
You can always bring the bolt to the hardware store and use their pitch gauge.
Just make sure your replacement is rated the proper
Grade.
Cool idea. Where are our engineers.
My problem with all of this will be storage
Where am I going to put the roof?
I know a lot of Wrangler peeps have a pulley/tackle system. Not sure if my garage ceiling is high enough for that.
But I do like your way of thinking.
