:fingerscrossed:Had lots of issues in the beginning, base 5 radio is still a mess, but got jeep to refund me after 3 replacements and countless updates didn't fix the software bugs. The door clicking annoyed me but I've tuned that out. At 17,000 miles now just fixed the factory painted over rust...
I was able to pick up some aluminum rims for my summer set. They are the type that came off a willys or launch edition, any clue to the color code? Initially thought low gloss black as the dealer told me but that doesn't seem to be right and there are a few blacks for mopar touch up pens...
Glad it's worked for you, didn't do any kind of heavy wax before dropping it in. I will use my JT on occasion to move a piece of furniture but mostly for smaller items and my short canoe/ bed tent. Poorly kept rough roads around here and tons of road salt. Just seems like if I let it stay in...
The right front corner was to the metal size of a silver dollar and I had to touch up a few spots. Just dosen't work for me since I live in a high salt area and even though I rinse out under it, there was a lot of sand and salt trapped in there. I just need a spray line x and probably a dee zee...
Here they are, took it out today. Took some pictures of a few spots. One year and only an occasional sand bag in the back. A few spots are down into the primer and metal. Last drop in I'll ever buy, looking to get it bed lined now.
Well checked under my rugged liner after over a year now, yikes it's all scratched up underneath and I hardly used it. Now I'm thinking I want to tear it out to repair the deeper scratches and maybe get a spray in.
At 17,000 miles. Besides a few quality issues I feel Jeep could easily have fixed before releasing. As i mod and improve it i'm loving it more all over again. Radio and it's OEM replacements drove me mad for awhile but looking forward to tossing the horrendous base 5' and upgrading to...
Well it's been a long difficult year of shorting radios, up to three replacements and probably 15 dealership trips never showing any codes but after I threatened to switch brands after five jeeps I finally recieved a refund check. Now to find a good waterproof replacement I can put it towards.
Anyone hear if these will be coming out with a waterproof version? I was told so by a audio shop who demonstrated an install on YouTube that they will be coming out this year. the company reps tell me they haven't heard of this. Really can't invest so much in a radio that's not water resistant...
Thanks for the code, finally pulled the trigger on these, though the code only takes $44 dollars off now, I'm guessing because of covid but that got me the center console for free. Can't wait to get these.
Thank you!! So glad I held off on ordering one of these kits. I'll just be ordering the hook and getting some bolts for it. Making a cutout with the back of the bumper as a template should be simple enough
I have had my hard top freedom panels rear locator pins drop pieces like chalk onto passenger about that time. I had to use JB plumbers putty to fill the chunks then coat the thing in aluminum tape to protect it. The quality has gone down since the JK for sure. I know how you feel, every...
