So I no longer have a soft top since I sold it with my last vehicle trade in, didnt expect to come right back to another gladiator. But i really miss having the soft top. I dont want to trade my hard top, but all the soft ones I find are just far away or priced stupid. I sold mine for 500...
oh im not scheduling anything. I try to avoid the dealer unless absolutely necessary. It doesnt always do it, so im sure if I went it wouldnt do it while there.
87 is all I run in mine. Its all I ran in my 2020 as well. As for my 3rd gear hard shift, id probably take it to the dealer and it would prob not do it. Its not every time but just sometimes on light throttle from when it goes 2nd to 3rd auto shift. At this point im just dealin with it.
i had no problems putting my freedom panels back on after I was done installing it all. There is enough room to get your hands / fingers up to latch each one. The fronts latch you have to manuever the shade a hair but i think thats common.
I was able to get mine installed with the premium stuff. Did you pull the bungees very hard? Yeah they were tight, but they worked. They may be a bit too tight, but still worked.
I said "what the hell..." and took the alien sunshade I got today cheap and threw it in my 2025. I had no problem with the bungees being too short. I can say it doesnt fit super super good on my 2025, but good enough. I didnt have to loosen the windshield and i ran the little thin tool between...
It goes fast. Mine arent home schooled but I work from home so I am with them often. I as well dont do as much with mine as I should, but I am trying to do better. The jeep was one of the things I justified as being a way to help with that, and well ive done it but very little. Just small quick...
my 2025 shifts weird too, but mine is a hard shift or almost hesitant quick shift that you can feel into 3rd when i am very light throttle. its pretty annoying.
yes this was one of my concerns. Apparently there was no gasket seal to pass through on previous models. I was afraid to run the bungees and tool through it and cause water leaks or any type of air noise?
is that an alien shade? If so, do you have the premium sound? Also, did you have any issue passing bungies through the front with all the new rubber seals etc in that area with the 24 and 25s? Ive still got my matching green front alien shade that I got brand new from someone super cheap, but...
which did you install? Without the sides is it not flappy? For the sides I would just thinking on doing some extended screws with a spacer and then modify the bungees to be shorter and hook around the screw with spacer instead of full around the bar.
well...you just saved me from installing mine. I have an alien shade waiting in my garage I was gonna try on my 25. You could modify the screws on the sides to accept the bungee without wrapping it all the way around the roll bar.
Guess ill put up the one I purcased for sale.
