I'm seeing a small increase in interest for manuals with the younger crowd, but I seriously doubt you'll see anything resembling "collectible" status for a JT with one any time in the near future... after several decades, maybe, but in five years absolutely not in my opinion.
Just a thought, check your coolant temperature sensor and connector. If the connector isn't fully seated or the wiring is damaged, it may cause a false full cold signal to the PCM. The sensor is screwed into the front of the engine under the thermostat housing.
If you have a scanner or...

If you're wanting an affordable wheel and tire upgrade, it's really hard to beat the deals to be found on marketplace for stock takeoffs.
What does the ESS status page on your instrument cluster say? Does it list a reason why ESS is unavailable?
In addition to checking connections as recommended above, check that you didn't accidentally pop one of the Z fuses when you swapped out the batteries.

The wire between the PCM and alternator is a LIN bus communication wire, not an old school field wire. Reading the voltage from that wire doesn't tell you anything useful with a smart charging system.

Like I said earlier, attach a lanyard to the step and you can pull it inside once you're in.
This is the one I keep in my LJ. I drilled a small hole through the top and attached a paracord lanyard, then tied a carabiner to the other end so it can be clipped in easy reach and allow one's hands...

He's moving a trailer from one spot in a campground a very short distance to another spot in the same campground, not dragging it miles and miles down the road with the truck loaded up with the family and all their assorted stuff for a two week vacation.
Your Max Tow equipped Sport is rated to tow 7650lbs for extended distances at highway speed. Moving a trailer fifty pounds heavier than that a very short distance at what's likely to be walking speed at best is no cause for concern.
No need to reach nor even open the discriminator in order to pour additives into the tank, just remove the cap and pour and it'll easily get past the closed discriminator.
Unless you've changed out the factory fill with something different, coolant from your Jeep will be pink (3.6) or purple (3.0), not yellow. A shock leaking bad enough to be the source of the multiple drips you show would have very obvious fluid present on it, enough that a cursory glance could...
