Hello Fellow Gladiators
We have just launched ValleyGladiators.com website to help adventurous Gladiator owners in Phoenix Valley to come together and take their Jeeps off-road. The "Club" and I use the term loosely here, doesn't have membership fees, presidents or meetings. This club is all...
Funny you asked. They called me about an hour after I dropped the Jeep off to tell me that it's the winch and the light bar that are draining the auxiliary battery. I've disconnected those from the positive couple of weeks prior so that didn't stick. That's when they decided to actually test...
Same "start/stop not ready battery charging" for about 3 months now. Finally took it to the dealer. They claim to have ran tests on the batteries and they all passed. For once they're not blaming the oversized tires and the lift kit. Instead, was told that it's probably due to high temperatures...
Thank you azmojave! That is precisely one of the main reasons why I started the club. Almost all of offroad groups in Phoenix, and elsewhere I'm guessing, typically do runs monthly or semi-monthly and they usually fill up minutes after being posted on FB or Meetup. Reason being, it’s time...
I've been running Arizona trails for almost 7 years now with various clubs around the valley. I've finally decided to branch out and start my own club specifically tailored to the JT community named "Valley Gladiators". I plan on running one day wheeling trips around Phoenix, long weekend...
I just started a new off-road club on meetup tailored specifically to JT owners named "Valley Gladiators" Check it out on meetup at https://www.meetup.com/valley-gladiators. Colorado trip you're describing has been on my bucket list for years and will be running that itinerary in late...
Same thing happened to me years ago while offroading my 2009 JK on the Back Way to Desert Bar trail in Parker, AZ. Caliper bolt fell off and the caliper jammed the tire so I couldn't move at all. It cost over $2,000 for offroad recovery plus another $1,200 in repairs. Since that little...
I do agree with you @ORACLElights. This is not a manufacturing defect. Rather it’s either a design flaw OR a brilliantly engineered way to ensure recurring revenue stream by charging your customers for replacement of these lights years into the future.
This is completely contradictory to...
These were tightened by hand and I stopped after encountering the slightest resistance but according to the manufacturer that's too tight. Unfortunately, both posts completely ripped off, see pics below. My guess is that the wind got inside at high speed and just ripped both posts out
Offering to sell me a replacement for a product that's less than a month old and effectively calling your customer a liar is not an acceptable solution!!!
To clarify, according to your statement, it is a common problem with the product but it's not a product defect because every person that...
I had the Oracle Lights installed on the Gladiator about a month ago. I've read about the over-tightening issues on this forum and made sure to barely tighten the two screws. Everything worked great until few days ago when the driver side just popped out on the freeway while doing 90 mph...
Yes, I did meant the shifter and yes I was stationary. Wouldn't any of the causes you've mentioned with wiring, damaged transfer case etc... persisted instead of completely disappearing after power off/on cycle?
One other thing worth noting is that I've experienced what felt l
No white smoke at all. I'm well familiar with the oil issues you're describing on steep obstacles. This was definitely different.
The purpose of this thread is try and get an edumacated guess on what could’ve caused the problem described below and ways to prevent it from happening again. Please do not use this thread to rant about how good/bad Jeep is or the merits of where we should or shouldn’t take our Jeeps to or any...
