Hey there. Looking for someone who doesn’t want/need their tailgate anymore. Would prefer a black one but will take what I can get. Sold my Alu-Cab Canopy Camper and gave my tailgate away in 2023.
Yes. I installed
Yes. I installed 2 low profile strap loops on the platform on each end and run tie down straps through each handle. It is very secure with zero movement or rattling.

I have the same pic! What a great adventure. We loved the Salmon Glacier, did you get to see the bears feeding at the park in Hyder? It was so cool! Did you make it to Tuktoyatuk?
We are still rocking the stock Falken 33" on our Jeep and couldn't be happier. Anything larger than a 33" tire is difficult to get South of Mexico. We have been all over the US, Canada, and now Baja with these tires and a ton of off road with rocks, gravel, & sand. We aren't doing any serious...
Having lived in ours for the last year this is a very true statement. We are now in Baja and live mostly outside but when the weather turns it makes life a little more difficult. We have our fridge in the back seat along with our food dry storage so I feel you. This is a huge reason we decided...
Ha that is funny. We drove to Costa Rica in 2019 in our 2 door JL and that was our first big international trip and we did hotels and Airbnb's the way down. After we moved back to the states we knew we wanted to do a longer trip and in order to afford that she knew we would be camping. The...
Of course. It is easiest to go here to see the build: Tortuga The Jeep
We are loving Baja. It is super easy to get around and finding places to camp is pretty easy as well. We use iOverlander a lot and have done pay camps too as they are usually around $10-15/night and they have showers and...
We have made it to Baja! We have been here for just over 5 weeks and are loving every second. The beaches have been wonderful, the beer has been cheap and good, and the food is to die for. Man do we love Mexico.
Yes. The seat is all the way back but the back of the seat is in more of an upright position - I prefer it this way so it isn't a big deal for me but I know most people like the back of the seat to recline more than me.
We made it to the Arctic Ocean and have been in Alaska for the last 3 weeks. Fall/Winter is coming here fast so we are going to get South to Baja as fast as we can without missing stuff.
We have started the Alaska Highway on our way up to Tuktoyaktuk! We are almost 6 weeks in Canada and it has been incredible. Driving through the Canadian Rockies has been incredible. We did Banff but were unable to drive the Icefields parkway as Jasper was on Fire and all of plans there were...
We’ve made it to Canada! Holy shit is it gorgeous! Almost 6 months on the road. We are still loving our trip & each other!! We are hoping to hit the Arctic Ocean sometime in the beginning of August.
We are headed up to the UP in Michigan. We will be hitting Pictured Rocks and staying a couple nights on the Keweenaw Peninisula. Any other "must stops" we are missing?
Just got my Starlink and am very interested in this as well. Right now we are just using the ground and the hood with no mounting. I was also wondering about an adjustable pole attached to the right rear Molle panel. I was wondering if something like that could work.
We would love to hit up Treehouse, unfortunately we will not be headed that far North on the East Coast as we have some family obligations and an eclipse to witness in the midwest. I will say, if you are ever in Richmond, VA hit up a brewery called The Answer Brewpub. Excellent beers all around...
