Just got back from a 10 day trip to the Oregon Coast, Overland Expo PNW and back to Denver. Slept 9 out of our 10 nights in the camper. The wife and I and the little dog all loved it. All kinds of weather and conditions too, This camper is for sure the best. OVX was awesome too. So many great...
I went with the cab for more room in the bed. I have the Goose Gear 40% seat delete and 50L National Luna fridge/freezer combo. it is a perfect fit behind the driver's seat. I have a 12 volt plug going back to the house battery in the Alu-Cab.
Took Tortuga out for the first time a couple weekends ago. I have only ever ground tent camped before and the comfort of the Alu-Cab is unmatched. I can't believe how secure and comfortable we were. This camper really is a game changer.
Also installed a Warn VR 10s winch using a warn winch...
Picked up my JT from Gupton on the 12th, spent a week driving around TN & NC and on the way home, about 20 miles into Colorado big rock hits the top of the passenger side and cracks the gorilla glass. I remember your post when you picked yours up and did a search to see what I needed to do. UGh.
It will be hear sooner than you expect! You'll be doing Jeep waves in no time!
I hear ya. This will be my 4th Jeep. 1 CJ5, 1 TJ, & 1 JL. Super stoked for my JT.
My guess from reading these posts is most of you didn't have the agonizing wait for the 18 JLs. 5 months from order to delivery for my 18 JL. It was torture! As excited as I am for my Gladiator, I am ok with this timeframe over the initial rollout for the JL. Mine is supposed to be at Gupton on...
I will be driving it back to CO. I can't wait. I have been over a year without a Jeep since I left my JL in Costa Rica. I feel the need, the Jeep need!
Ha! I will one up you. My '03 TJ had 134000 miles on the OG windshield. That thing was pitted all to hell but no big chips or breaks. And if you know, those things were pretty much straight up and down. Not as slanted as my JL. I did order the GG for my new Gladiator, just because I could.
