If it was me I would go Mojave over an Overland. The Mojave gives you the suspension and a rear locker. I went with Rubicon for same reasons it has front rear lockers, sway bar disconnect and shocks. PLUS resale, just looking at past Jeeps for sale Rubicon and I would assume Mojave are the...
WOW ...umm Ugly comes to mind. The hood looks like a storage create from Rubbermaid and the fender flairs are just ...off....like the proportions or something :(
That looks like a Tundra size truck. I went from a 16" TRD Off Road to Gladiator Rubicon and couldn't be happier. As others have stated the current generation Tacoma with the 3.5L lacks low end torque, is always trying to find a gear. The previous generation 4.0L was a much better engine...
As others have said I think it is too early to really tell. What I can tell you is out west, at least the Rubicon model before just buying new I noticed people with 40k miles USED asking more than what I paid new. Maybe its the shortage with Covid too early to really know.
I think you really need to ask yourself " do I need or want a full size truck". To me, they are very different vehicles not even in the same class. Toyota is going to be bigger, faster, quieter it will hall more tow more. It won't off road as well, while the rear window slides down its still...
Removed "most" (still have some polishing to do) the stock bolts from winch bumper replaced with stainless steel which I polished out on buffer Hard to tell in pics but they shine..matches black wheels with stainless bolts :)
I bought a truck that is a Jeep. I have had several Jeeps through the years and I have a few Toyotas Tacoma's and even before they were called tacoma. I had an FJ that I loved but every time I had a Jeep or SUV I missed having a truck ...everyone needs a truck. I don't NEED a 1 Ton but a...
I think Ford has enough "trucks" out. You have the Super Duty', F150, Ranger and the smaller Maverick. I think Ford would be better served coming up with a "Clydsdale Bronco " LOL by that I mean release a full size Bronco. I've always liked the 66-77 which the new one is kind of a rendition...
Well I am off to sell the Gladiator. The magazine stated I made a big mistake. Although, I have to be honest I didn't buy it to go rock crawling and while I "use" my vehicles off road for things like hunting and camping. I am not really worried about the long wheel base and obstacles. It...
Yeah the FJ was kooky looking I loved mine blind spots in all. But you are correct, they should have made it like the old ones (removable top) four actual doors or at least an option for four full size doors. The other screw up was the rear windows didn't roll down. Should have made that happen...
I actually think they were going for gas mileage with the 3.5. Mine was better on gas than the older 4.0L in Tacoma/FJ and its better than the Gladiator but 100% agree wrong motor for a truck.
I had a 2008 FJ Sandstorm lt was a GREAT vehicle drove it for 8 years. Spent most of my time on two wheels at that time and kept the mileage low. Sold it for only 5 grand less than I paid for it. Then I bought the 2016 TRD Off Road Tacoma. Great truck, horrible seating I had sun roof since 16...
Time will tell on reliability I only have 2700 miles. BUT I am going to call BS on their acceleration claims. 22 Seconds really? I am pretty sure a stock 1970 VW Beetle would have those times. I don't own a manual transmission, I have the auto and while I wouldn't say the JT is a rocket ship...
