Where I buy my Diesel at, it is more expensive than Mid Grade and Premium. With that being said, it's only 5¢ more than Premium, and 49¢ more than Mid Grade. Now, if you're talking Regular, that pops up to a 79¢ price difference. I'd also save 27¢ per gallon if I drove an additional 2 miles out...
