  1. Let's see those Mojave's and Mods

How do you like those Trail Grapplers? I've been looking for a set of 35x11.5r17 and the Toyo AT3 is my first choice, but I can't seem to find them anywhere. I've seen the Grappler pop up as an option but reviews seem mixed. Any grip or weight issues? Your Jeep looks great by the way. I like the...
  2. Must have options from factory?

I agree, some advancements are good, like auto start in situations you describe, but heated seats and steering? My wife's Subaru has these options and I've never needed to use them, so I'd hardly consider them a must have. I was just surprised how many Jeep owners think they are. To me it's just...
  3. Must have options from factory?

I'm really surprised how many of you think the cold weather package is a must have. I've driven for 30 years without needing a heated seat or steering wheel living in some pretty cold places in Canada. Gloves are a thing ?
  4. MY22 Only - Anyone moved to D1?

True, but I live in Canada. In general we get things slower. I've looked at various dealerships in the Vancouver area and have only seen '22 Gladiator models listed as "in transit". Making matters worse, we've had bad flooding here over the last month which damaged rail and all the major roads...
  5. MY22 Only - Anyone moved to D1?

I received the same email from them this morning. Coincidentally, today was my estimated ship date (last I heard). I contacted my salesman for an update, but no response yet.
  6. MY22 Only - Anyone moved to D1?

Just found out yesterday that the estimated ship date for my Mojave has been moved back to December 14.
  7. MSRP price change after ordering

I'd be interested in hearing how that turns out.
  8. MSRP price change after ordering

Thank you. I appreciate your input and will likely try to negotiate further as you suggested. This dealership does place emphasis on its reputation in the area and the manager seems willing to do something.
  9. MSRP price change after ordering

Interesting point regarding the higher value. There are also added features (ones I didn't want mind you) which may increase its value later too.
  10. MSRP price change after ordering

The agreement lists the selling price, trade in value (which they have received), the difference owing, taxes, fees and final amount owing. There are customer and dealer approval signatures. The numbers are hand written on a company form. There are no terms that indicate anything binding that I...
  11. MSRP price change after ordering

I'll definitely be checking out that site for options. I did find it funny that the salesman was making it sound like my agreement was with Jeep. If that is the case, what's the point of the dealership?
  12. MY22 Only - Anyone moved to D1?

I went into the dealership September 5. Order date on my POC shows October 1. Ordered an Auto Mojave
  13. MSRP price change after ordering

I thought a signed agreement with a deposit secured a price, but that's why I asked. Further negotiation on the difference may be the route to go, as you suggest.
  14. MSRP price change after ordering

I did use a credit card for the deposit. The original price order confirmation sheet was for a '21. The one I was sent on October 17 was for a '22.
  15. MSRP price change after ordering

I have a situation I would like to get some input on as the Gladiator is the first vehicle I have factory ordered and am unfamiliar with the process. I'll try to provide a concise timeline to avoid confusion. All prices are Canadian. Most of our conversation was done via text, so I have a record...
  16. MY22 Only - Anyone moved to D1?

I've got D1 status and an estimated ship date of December 3.
  17. What was your ride before the JT?

08 Corvette Z06. I'd barely driven it the last few years, focusing more on off-roading and camping. I'll likely sell my LJ too, but we'll see.
  18. If you could pick the hood, standard Sport style, Rubicon or Mojave?

If the Mojave hood did something functional I would appreciate it more, same as the Rubicon. As they don't, my preference is the Sport. That said, I don't care too much about the hoods, and I doubt I'll swap when my Mojave arrives.
  19. Mojave vs Rubicon? Help me decide!

OP, like you, and many others I'm sure, I debated this for quite a while. In the end, I decided that the Rubicon features, while awesome (I've owned a Wrangler Rubicon previously), were not quite as useful to me in truck form. I recently ordered a Mojave because its features were better suited...
  20. Mojave Aftermarket Bumpers

I like the look of this bumper. Do you know roughly what it weighs? I wasn't able to find that info on the rugged ridge website
