  1. CP4 Fuel Pump EcoDiesel Recall

Thanks for this forum and keeping us updated on what to watch out for, given FCA is so poor on informing us. For what its worth, 32k mi on my '21 JTRD, and no issue yet on CP4 (knock on wood). But I'll be keeping an eye on it.
  2. Updated - Gladiator EcoDiesel Bottoming Out Poll 2 - Spring Part Numbers

Your the first that has done, IMHO, the REAL no-lift, full fix... e.g. TSB shocks/bumps and Clayton 0.5" lift front diesel coils. So you've leveled the jeep, gained some front up-travel, and have supposedly better damping and bump protection. Your feedback on how this performs both on road...
  3. Eco diesel Suspension bottoming out on normal roads

... not a Rubicon... TSB is only for Rubicon's... another reason to talk to Clayton. Jeep is not addressing the bottom out on non-Rubicon's. Clayton does. Jeep's solution on Rubicon's will solve it for daily driving only, not trails, and without any more bumper weight. Clayton's springs...
  4. Reaching out to those doing their own shock tuning?

You have clayton diesel springs in the rear and still think they are borderline soft? What length? Are they soft for you for general driving, or only when loaded/towing? Thinking of going with the HD when they are released? I've got the 2.5 clayton diesel and think they are plenty stiff for...
  5. Ecodiesel power derating as temps rise?

Thanks for the link. ...Filed my complaint.
  6. Gladiator Diesel Bottoming Out Poll - Let’s get some numbers here.

@Clayton Off Road , what OEM shocks would you recommend with these two offerings? e.g. would the Rubicon TSB Fox shocks, or '22 vintage factory shocks (presumably with more damping than original 2021 factory shocks) be preferred ? To anyone looking for a true fix at near factory height, and...
  7. Reaching out to those doing their own shock tuning?

Did you go from from Clayton 3.5 gas front springs to 3.5 diesel? How you liking the firmness of the diesel fronts?
  8. Updated - Gladiator EcoDiesel Bottoming Out Poll 2 - Spring Part Numbers

You can talk directly to @Clayton Off Road on this, to get the latest, including planned availability. I'm pretty sure the target Clayton is shooting for with the prototypes that @Rusty PW is trialing out is to level the stock JTD, (e.g. 1-1.5") and prevent the bottoming issue, without a full...
  9. Updated - Gladiator EcoDiesel Bottoming Out Poll 2 - Spring Part Numbers

I think this is a pretty good approach. Get the newer TSB shocks, which I assume have much more damping. And then add the Clayton leveling springs. I have the Clayton 2.5" springs, and Fox Performance Elite adjustable shocks, and will say that the springs are great, but the shocks need...
  10. Reaching out to those doing their own shock tuning?

Glad you have it to a point where you are happy with it! A ton of effort, and a ton of trial an error on your part, and very helpful that you are sharing this info! Now that you've hit a point where you are satisfied with the results, what would be really great is if you could share a...
  11. Reaching out to those doing their own shock tuning?

Sumo springs... the 500lb set, ... not the 1000lb set. I put these on before the lift/shock upgrade. Really liked how they helped out on the heavy loads, as well as cutting down on body roll.
  12. Reaching out to those doing their own shock tuning?

Just to say I'm limited in my use-cases so far,... but I'll say the rig unloaded ran pretty nice at about 15 psi on the 37's and 9's on the damping! Could do Moab streets, or Fins N' Things! Also, I don't have my load-leveling hitch set right yet. I didn't have enough time between lift...

wify didn't ... "like", or "notice" the difference? Wify's are important.
  14. Reaching out to those doing their own shock tuning?

Yes I have. I'm trying to figure that out.... however I found that my shop inflated my tires to about 40psi to start out with, so I'm no sure if it was the shocks or the overinflation of my new 37's. I only had about 2 days to mess with this before strapping on the trailer and heading to Moab...
  15. Eco diesel Suspension bottoming out on normal roads

Yup, thats pretty much what I'd expect. They will likely market this as a leveling lift. @kilroy173 , I got probably the first 2.5" Clayton diesel specific springs. They Fed Exed them to me the day after they got them from their supplier. Compared to saggy '21 stock springs I got 4" lift...
  16. Eco diesel Suspension bottoming out on normal roads

Wow, and this is on a '22, which FCA says is supposedly "Fixed". This is the reason I stopped waiting for the TSB on the '21s, and decided the only fix is a lift. I don't think the TSB is going to make your '21 Rubicon EcoD drive like a Jeep. It will only make it safe on pavement, IMHO. I...
  17. Reaching out to those doing their own shock tuning?

So I got the build installed with the Clayton 2.5" diesel springs, Fox 2.5's, BFG KO2 37's, Method 705 +25mm, and EVO/King air bumps (sumo springs already installed). Looks like I'm going to be good on clearance. (they didn't adjust the track bars correctly, so I have a little rub on one side...
  18. Gladiator Diesel Bottoming Out Poll - Let’s get some numbers here.

Thanks to quick work by Clayton, I now have the 2.5" diesel specific front springs installed. They actually Fed Ex'd the springs to me the day after they got them from their suppliers. VERY responsive, (Thanks Adam, James, Devin). To report, they are significantly stiffer than stock. I went...
  19. Gladiator Diesel Bottoming Out Poll - Let’s get some numbers here.

To be fair, AEV has had 2.5" diesel specific springs for a while.... just need to buy Bilstein shocks with them too.
