Thanks for the honest opinion and comparison. I’ve got an ATS sitting in the garage that hasn’t been installed because it was originally intended for the JK and I was going to use the relocation kit to install, was going to wait until the weather warmed up to mess with. Had the Falcon 2.2 on...
Troy, where in Ohio are you located? I’ve got one stored in my garage. I know it fits in the spare location as I was running this as a spare until I picked up a set of 5 37’s already mounted and put the fifth in the spare location.
Certainly not an expert but have a bit of common sense to interject. What model do you have, with what gears?
Would you be better off financially to sell the current axles to offset the cost of new 60’s? Possibly.
Could you run these for a period of time? Possibly
I ran my 14 Rubicon X for...
Looking to purchase a complete soft top with all parts. Willing to drive for the right price, I’m in Northeast Ohio and travel to Northwest Ohio regularly. Prefer the Premium, but will entertain the standard. Have a set of new take-off Launch Edition wheels to use as partial trade if...
Love this series of pics, I’ve been accused of having the same. Tried finding my old pic to add to my reply but cannot find it on the iPad. The old pic was when my son and daughter both had theirs, we had my old JKURX, my son’s jk Sport, daughter’s JK Sahara, Sister-in-law’s JKU Polar...
Picked up the LE and began the rebadging process. No good pics of that, but also threw on the set of 37’s from the former JKURX to see what size lift I might want to add,..
Picked up my LE today, gave up on the one with the driveshaft issue. The Jeep website was awful for trying to locate other possibilities, so resorted to performing a google search for dealer names and came across mine.
I also get how things slip through, even with all of the QA fail-safe measures in place, but the lack of action to remedy is where they are falling short. It is quite hard to imagine that 5% of the units shipped over a 6-7 month period are the only affected ones. For FCA to keep producing...
So now that they’ve identified the issue/problem/culprit, how long until they can provide a resolution? Seems that Jeep could redirect driveshafts to those affected units in lieu of continuing to build new product. In my case, my Gladiator is sitting in purgatory (Service Bay of Dealer)...
Wheel spacers do not ruin the ride, Ive run them on multiple JK’s and on the wife’s Renegade. On the Renegade, you could feel the width increase, felt more stable.
I reached out to Jeep Cares and received an email that they have no idea when the parts/repair will be made available. I also inquired why they continue to ship out new Gladiators by the truckload, yet cannot source the parts needed to get current owners or dealer stock available. Sad, very...
Hello all, new to the forum. Looking at options as I await my Rubicon being released from driveshaft purgatory at the dealer. My current vehicle is a 14 Rubicon Unlimited X that I’ve modified over the years, currently sitting on a 4.5” frankenlift with 37’s. Since I have multiple sets of 37’s...
Anyone have an update as to when the part may be available? I purchased a Rubicon this past Saturday, 9-7-19, and was advised that the sale was unable to be completed until the recall is resolved, i.e. there was a stop-sale order on my Rubicon meaning I was unable to take delivery and finalize...
