Anybody know what all is involved in adding this feature after purchase?
It seems like really good option for off road, wondering if possible to add on a Sport?
I would have to isolate the batteries and charge them individually at 12V.
Yes watts are watts, but watts equals volts times amps, so the amp draw would be much less at higher voltage, so much smaller wires needed, etc.
All of the good ones have 12/24 and 110, so it's not an issue running them...
The old LT was still a small block.
they re use the names to keep up with the history. L88, 1LE, etc.
when the LS first. Came out in97 it was LS1. Then they developed a high power version of it and that was called the LS6. LS1 and LS6 are very similar. Then in 05 the base engine was called the...
I really like the look of your truck on 35’s.
I was all set on 37’s (and re gearing), but I might just be able to get away with the 35’s and 4.10’s
The sad part is that the Penata cams are all the same from a Ram to. Challenger.
they rally just took one engine and dumped it in a Chrysler 200, a minivan and a truck.
that really sucks.
the 3.6 could be so much better engine for the Jeep if it was tweaked correctly.
I am not talking about aftermarket flex fuel.
I am talking about determening whether the Jeep is a factory ffv or not.
or if the components are there but maybe not on line?
If Livernoise has a true flex fuel tune without adding a flex fuel sensor, the the jeep is a ffv.
period
That is 100% not true.
Ive don a LOT of tuning with E85, race fuels, avgas, etc etc.
the computer doesnt care.
as long as there is a signal, it will do what its told.
fles fuel sensor can literally beadded for less than 200 bucks. Its super simple!
you wouldnt run 2 computers in parallel?one for the engine, one for the body?
LS are so cheap and plentiful.......
Although, if the 2.0 was offered on the Glad, Id take that and be done with it...
Im ver familiar with Mazdas also. Currently building a MZR/Duratec block as a matter of fact..
we are talking about different things here....
Ethanol compatable engine is not the same thing as flexible fuel engine.
what you are talking about is having a SPECIFIC ratio of gas/ethanol and...
the ONLY way you can run ethanol without a sensor is if you drain the gas and fill it with straight E85, or have another way of tuning for that EXACT mixture.
If the mixture is off, your tune will be off.
the flx fuel sensor is really cheap. Its made by Continental and outputs a 0-5V linear...
I agree with that.. What Im saying is since most fuels have some ethanol content (10%) manufacturers have started using corrosion resistant materials.
But also, Livernois cant just write a flex fuel tune on a car that doesnt have an ethanol sensor..
you either have to add it (like I did on my...
