    Perhaps if someone tried to hook up a non led light, or half of a lightbar, or something else that has an amperage draw that would trigger a fault. I don't know, just a WAG.

    I would guess with LED lights the onboard diagnostics expects a small load. Plugging non-LED lights or other high load devices onto that line would cause a fault.     Agreed. I'm searching for a stupid orange hook delete / shackle mount for the rear. It's a simple part to make. No welds. Just a bar with some holes. I can't believe nobody makes it.

    Thank you! I used this harness: It connects behind the 12 volt outlet (cigarette lighter) and uses that factory harness for power.

    When I did what you do for a living, I couldn't believe they even paid me to do it. That wore off quickly LOL. Work your 31, retire to a red state that costs far less, and NEVER discuss your pension with guys who are working for less than your pension. LOL
