I have that, because I don't trust hooks. I would still love to have shackle mounts back there.
Roger that. Personally, I figure that one shackle point is all i'll ever need. I've been off-roading for 40 years and have never found myself actually "needing" multiple points on the back. Can't say it wouldn't happen, but my experience left me feeling one was enough.

One thing you can do, that I did, is swap the hooks from each side so that the openings face away from center line. The thing I really don't like about the hooks is that they face towards the center line of the truck. I swapped mine so I can hook up a bridle between the two and the bridle can't slip off towards centerline because the hooks are reversed.

Great idea to swap the hooks. My current plan is to remove the hooks and rely on the hitch mount.....while searching for shackle mounts 😆
