No sir, I would never go that route. I was just rinsing with soft water for the final rinse. There was a small defect in the paint so I got a little closer and game over.
I guess Jeeps and pressure washers doing go hand in hand. FIRST wash today and about a 1.5" section of paint just blew off the passenger fender. I was so amazed I could not even be angry. I have never seen such a thing. Is there any way to get the fender painted through warranty do you guys...
Wow, more power to you for taking this project on but definitely something I will not be adding. It's a fun feature but not worth potential interior squeaks, creaks, rattles......
It would have been interesting to see the specs prior to the lift. Mine was wandering all over the place, installing the Fox steering stab took a lot of it out but I'm concerned about doing the Mopar lift.
I've been reading on the Wrangler forums about this bumper. Now I am torn between this and the Arcus. On the Wrangler forums people were stating they had to cut the frame rails to get the bumper installed. I read through the JT install instructions and they did not mention cutting anything. Did...
I have definitely brought vehicles home with definite loose bolts and screws all over the place. Quite disturbing honestly. If there a reference for torque specs for these front ends?
This JT is my first Jeep and I am surprised at the wander in the steering. Mine did come with MTs which I do slightly blame. I have the Fox steering stabilizer on order hoping that will dampen the wander slightly.
I would love a lift kit to represent Clayton. I am a RN and have been fighting the good fight in Arizona with all the COVID issues going on. I have a lot of plans for my JT, first Jeep for me and I have fallen in love!
Thanks for the opportunity!!
Anyone running the Bulletproof METAL setup? I just received my kit with the metal plate since I am concerned about the plastic plate with the AZ sun/heat. Anyway, the hole for the factory screw isn't even close to correct. It forces the screw almost straight up and down instead of at an angle.....
I hear this repeated frequently, waiting on TPMS sensors. Why aren't the factory sensors swapped to new wheels? Where does one get new TMPS sensors and how are they added to the system to recognize them. Sorry, new to the Jeep world!
The outside corners on my RC cover seem to not lay flat like yours and the first fold strip won't lay flat on the passenger side. How long has yours been installed? I don't know if it just needs to rest unfolded for a while or what.
I tend to agree. I absolutely love the look of these with a 2" lift and 37s but I just don't think I need 37s. Can you post of pic with yours on the 2" lift with 35s?
Oh wow, I didn't think those would be 12.50s. I like how they are tucked in more honestly than sticking far past the fenders. Any rubbing with the stock wheels?
I have those Kuhmo Venture MTs on my H2 and for the price nothing can beat them!
OP-What is the width on your 35s? I like that look. Keeps them tucked in but a little taller.
Would any of you guys be willing to grab me a measurement of the depth of the bumper, from the rear of the bumper to the front edge of the hooks if that makes sense. I am curious how it compares to some of the more stout bumpers out there.
Thanks in advance!
