Yeah that's why I said having a wired option is a must for me.
Extreme temps in either direction will effect battery performance. In the case of Mr. Miami, he's probably more likely to have the effects of extreme heat than extreme cold.
People don't think about extreme temperatures when they...
Cold weather kills batteries. I've been on snow runs with friends who had HF winches and they pull out their remote, and the battery is dead.
Batteries also have an expiration date which applies like a "shelf life" when not installed in a device. Most devices have some sort of parasitic draw.
Yeah the only one that's in my HF store has a wireless remote but also includes a 4 pin wire that you can plug into the remote.
I would not bet everything on a wireless remote because I'm not going to consistently check the battery. There's no indicator of battery life on the remote.
We were real close to leaving back in August. We drove to Idaho and looked at some property in Eagle/Star. I loved it there but when we got home, my wife bought another restaurant near Sacramento with her friend. 😢
Some day...
My problem is that after I'm done chopping up ("customizing") and abusing a car for a few years, no dealership wants to accept it in a trade-in. lol my only option is private party goobers.
Yeah I guess when you do that much bulk out of China or wherever SB comes from, there's going to be some problems. I was lucky with my XRC Gen 2 front and rear bumpers. They held up to a lot of winching and offroad abuse through the years.
Was it the plate bumpers?
I've seen failures with the tube bumpers but I've had a really good experience with their plate steel bumpers. Even the finish was pretty strong on the one I had and abused.
Subbed for updates.. Have the Oracle lights proven to be reliable after the updates?
I still see people talk about failures right out of warranty but I'm not sure if maybe I just stumble across old posts... Would be nice to have a backup plan for when I inevitably bust a tail light this summer...
You can search for yourself and find cases where a dry slip yoke has caused clunking noises. There's even a bunch of DIY videos across many makes/models on how to fix this clunk with grease.
It's not quite the extreme abstract suggestion that you're inflating it to be.
This investment doesn't mean that Google is adding weight to reddit answers. It actually states in the article that Google is only using Reddit to expand it's understanding of human language. That's not even close to what you're accusing it of doing.
The "search" enhancements are strictly to...
Not for this type of stuff. Grok is decent at fact checking the media because it operates without the mainstream bias.
Diagnostics isn't Grok's strong suit.
I don't know of a single AI model that actually gives weight to reddit posts and I've worked directly with ChatGPT and Gemini in a...
That's not true at all and you even contradicted this in your final sentence.
If all it did was text predictions, it wouldn't parse hundreds/thousands of search results. It also attempts to qualify and predict accurate answers based on the knowledge base of the entire internet... Which is...
I doubt that grease on the rear driveshaft is the main culprit since your problem persists only while turning but that's an easy thing to fix if your driveshaft has a grease fitting.
AI is an awesome tool and IMO it's worth the 30 seconds to ask AI just to see what it says. The more info you...
Relentless Fabrication front & rear bumpers obtained and installed!
Made the drive over Donner Pass at the beginning of the recent storm system that hit the west coast. That also gave me an opportunity to try out snow driving with the Nitto Trail Grapplers and happy to say, zero issues. There...
The finish doesn't fade because it's just a clear over aluminum.
It's probably the best option for scratching because scratches just expose the same aluminum underneath. When you have a painted wheel, scratches show silver under the paint.
