  1. Diff oil

It says this on their website: but with it being thicker, I would probably avoid it in super cold environments.
  2. Diff oil

I run this. It's probably overkill but I tow and don't mind spending more on it.
  3. RIGd Ultraswing tire carrier

I'm not an old guy yet (mid 30's) so I can't relate entirely but I do appreciate when admins just let things play out on forums.. even when it gets a little heated. As long as it stays somewhat constructive I guess. I've been donating to the Wrangler Forum for a few years only because they take...
  4. Diesel - 4.56 Gears - 37 Inch Tires

Subbed for updates after you tow. I'm really curious about towing capabilities with 4.56 and 37's. My trailer is roughly 2500 lbs fully loaded and towing long distance is the #1 reason why I wanted the diesel. Mostly interested in maintaining highway speeds up hills, something I couldn't get...
  5. RIGd Ultraswing tire carrier

I run trails and I plan to leave the spare at home anyway for the weight savings. lol Good tires are strong and pretty resistant to flats.. and plug/patch kits work great. So far, in all of my years carrying a spare on a wrangler, I've not had to use it once.
  6. Lift kit? - man , I’m overwhelmed

Yeah I've been using their lift with Teraflex falcon adjustable shocks and it rides like a Cadillac on the soft setting. Lots of flex offroad also. This time around, I'm going to use the Metal Cloak black series shocks though. They have a pretty convincing video which tests the adjustability...
  7. Lift kit? - man , I’m overwhelmed

I'm a staunch supporter of the Metal Cloak game changer lift. I had lesser lifts before going to Metal Cloak and ended up paying 2-3x to change parts and chase annoying driving characteristics. The Metal Cloak lift on my JKU rides great, tracks straight, and it's smooth on the road so that's...
  8. Roof Top Tent on Cab Area Specficially

Put the RTT on a trailer, then you're not top-heavy and you can save your campsite while you explore. Doesn't work for everyone but it works great for me.
  9. Sports Bars - Post 'Em

Bumper and pod lights do the same thing, without a cut off. Or mount a bar of lights across the A pillars. The sports bar is definitely a vibe from the 80's and 90's.
  10. What is the largest battery that you can fit in the Eco Diesel?

I've learned that I have the same issue so I'm debating whether I run it til it dies, or replace it early before I begin adding all of my electronics.
  11. Sports Bars - Post 'Em

With a double cab and "sports bar" mounted lights, doesn't it cast a pretty big shadow right where you want light?
  12. What is the largest battery that you can fit in the Eco Diesel?

I just wonder if it's smaller, or different dimensions. I didn't do a 2 battery system, just 1 large battery with 1100CCA. Then I installed the EcoFlow "alternator charger" and the JT 240amp alternator in the JKU which gave plenty of output and reserve power to charge my 2000Wh EcoFlow battery...
  13. What is the largest battery that you can fit in the Eco Diesel?

Title kind of says it all. I'm coming from a JKU and, in planning to build out the JTRD, I have a lot of electronics and chargers to feed. I have an oversized battery in the JKU and would like to do the same in the JT if possible. What's that largest sized battery anyone has fit into the...
  14. Introductions & Welcome Thread 👋

That's Finnley, he's turning 4 on the 30th and was the biggest advocate for the "blue jeep" with mom. lol, it really helped seal the deal.
  15. Introductions & Welcome Thread 👋

Thanks! I think you're on one of the other forums that I frequent unless it's someone else using the same name. ;)
  16. Introductions & Welcome Thread 👋

New here, doing my intro post. Just got home on Friday from a 3 week trip through Idaho, Utah, and Colorado.. On Saturday I picked up this 2023 Gladiator Rubicon EcoDiesel. I was overweight for the 3.6 JKU and after the 17 hour drive home, I was very motivated to get something that could handle...
