No it's not, worked 40 years with Gulfstream, many times when logging flight controls, gear doors etc the serial number on the part was not the serial number of the A/C it was taken off of.
We would recieve a green A/C and I would get a work request to remove a part from a New aircraft and pull...
NC overland, I know it's off topic but since you worked for a rental comoqny
Couple years ago I read an article about a rental car company charging for windshield washer fluid, oil, Antifreeze. The customer who was billed was completely caught off gard they billed him like 10 days after the return.
This subject of parts availability has been an ongoing catastrophe. Just think back in the late 70's,I believe the 3 year financing and 36000 mile was concurrent with your loan. Today its still the same and the prices 4X more yet they still have the same crapolla warranty period.
The just in...
Sure if you make it obvious. I purchase a pre-made harness same color wires, connector, wrapped in harness tape. The original connector is pulled into the depths of the front panel then back wrapped to the switch interface.
Yes it can be defeated but not as easy as you make it.
Layers of...
Since we are giving tips, I carry a simple, cheap, infrared thermometer with me when I tow.
When I stop for fuel, or rest I take a temp reading just to keep a trend on what the wheel/bearing temps are.
Good luck.
Lots of threads on seat covers here.
The truck before my Gladiator was a tacoma, bought some generic covers off the so called auction site they served me well for 5 years. I worked corporate aircraft for Gulfstream, I was covered in hydraulic fluid, grease, sealant, fuel, etc. Those seat covers...
I get it, that's how it should be.
I've read your post prior and it changed my thinking.
Many folks don't want to participate and just because they don't, should not be berated, mocked, or named called because they don't like someone hanging around or touching personal property. Or they just...
I think I downloaded this from a thread shadow Pappa, participated in. This might be his schematic either way great visual when just looking for a simple jeep dual battery schematic.
That style mount is designed to be used with radialess ground independent type antennas. They don't need a ground.
Many boat owners use this setup also
Check out Diamond antennas web site for more info.
Great information,
Its been mentioned on this forum thieves don't go into the engine bay when they steal the truck. But the bolt lock is definetly to prevent theft of components.
I have a kill switch and the bolt, layers is what is preached here.
I knew thier was Group C,
Many people buy the jeep product because it is one of few vehicles designed to be taken Off-Road, they use it for guiding, hunting, exploring, search and rescue, recovery etc.
Many in my circles couldn't believe I bought a jeep let alone a Gladiator.
My years left...
That's a great idea. I'll be looking for another horn assy. To place under the hood, my truck is still under warranty can't see how adding a horn could cause an issue with warranty.
Oh yeah, when I installed my BOLT lock the fiber lock nut for the pivot lever was not tight at best just engaged...
I have searched for the same info Google, wrangler forums etc.
What I think people have done is, remove the horns and remount them with the electrical connection pointing in board, and not allowing easy access to the wires,or connections.
Have not seen any write ups or procedures.
Sorry I...
I've read about some very aggressive behavior from folks that just plain, dispise the duck. That is certainly thier prerogative, Similar to TDS, instead DDS.
I myself, think it's kinda cool and would never admonish or get mad at someone trying to give me a quacker.
Lifes too short. 🦆
