I think Gator is about $750 and BakFlip is $1200. I had Bakflip on a previous truck. I went with a cheaper Amazon one like Gator and I regret it every time I use it. Some day I’ll sell this one and upgrade. lesson learned - buy once, cry once.

@jcarbs So, just 1.5 to 2" leveling kit for 35s with no issues? What trim do you have? Rubicon? Also, how extreme wheeling do you do? I'd like to go this route too. I have Sport with max tow.

I bought a cheap $600 hard tri-fold bed cover from Amazon. Looks great but… It leaks. It doesn’t fold all the way to the rear window. The gaskets along the sides of the panels stick to the side rails and are ripping apart. I should have bought a BAK-Flip MX 4 like in my previous truck. None...

While on long trips, every so often the Jeep will blow warm air for a few minutes then go back to cold. Almost like it opens an outside air inlet vent for a few minutes. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this “normal”? Or a Jeep thing?

I tried a different brand and found the wireless connection to be unreliable. Sometimes it would connect, sometimes it wouldn't. I tried in in the Jeep and in a Hyundai. Same results. I sent it back.

Not sure if this is the same issue, but I had a clicking sound from the front while turning at low speed. Just had "TSB" #RSU 21-170 done at the dealer. Basically retorqued upper and lower ball joints. Noise seems to be gone now.

I suggest #2. My guess is the ignition switch is bad. And I'm good a "playing" dumb.

@ajkaz I don't have the Yokohomas but I'm considering the 35x10.5 Kenda Klevers for my daily driver. I'm still using stock tires. What are your thoughts on them? Good? Bad? Noisy? Thx.

@mtudb24 I’m considering similar to what you did, except I want to keep stock wheels. Do you have any rubbing at all? With sway bar disconnected? Full articulation? Thanks.
