I HATE it in my JL, but not so much in my JT.
Its all in the calibrations of the pedal switch/system.
Nothing to do with being first off the line.
On my JL it is very difficult to stop and hold the Jeep and not have it activate.
It also shuts the damn thing down almost every time I go to put it...
I think its normal. Forward is down, Back is up.
I replicates the 1-2 and/or 3-4 shift of a manual H pattern.
In some ways also replicates a sequential shift pattern of a motorcycle.
My man-u-matic Miata and Suzuki are the same.
Several others I have driven are the same way too.
Its just not...
I am happy with it, particularly mated to the 8 speed auto.
Not a power house in the Gladiator, but more than fine for how I drive.
It goes pretty well in the lighter 2 door JL.
An affordable option for a 5.7 in the Gladiator would be nice though.
Had the 3.6 in a Grand Caravan with a 6 speed...
I have to say I am surprised to see someone buy a base max tow with truly no mods planed.
I really see those as jeep mod starter kits.
Had a local dealer that ordered quite a few like that, under the assumption folks would buy to mod.
I assume you needed that extra towing capacity?
Nope, never gave the diesel a second thought.
Owned a Ram/Cummins 6.7 that I used mostly for towing duty.
Having delt with messy diesel pumps and the ownership cost, its not something I feel is worth it for light duty work.
I realize I am rare for Jeep owners, but I am not into mods and happy with a fairly basic set up.
I looked at true base models but I did want automatic, power windows and locks so as a minimum Sport S was a requirement.
I am very happy with the 80th anniversary package on my JT.
It doesn't even...
I found back in 2015 that Garmin/HERE maps developed issues where some minor roads were given incorrect and VERY high speed ratings.
Prior to that update all minor roads had the same default lower rating.
It causes all kinds of routing issues.
I tried working with Garmin, but they would not look...
Mine is awful too.
I cant ever seem to use it to find anything beyond a general search like all restaurants and even then only right in area that I am located.
I dont think I have ever had luck trying to put a name of some place in.
Like you, the few times I have used it I had to put the full...
I like snazzberry (duh), but NOT on the Mojave.
Not really on the Rubicon either, but its not as bad.
I think it looks awful with the orange accents.
When looking, the first snazzberry Gladiator I got to see in person was a Mojave.
It almost turned me off from the color.
Started to consider...
If anyone with a soft top gets one of these I would appreciate seeing how it fits over the soft top.
It looks like there is a bit of room, but I am curious if it still covers the rear door area.
Having previously owned a Dodge......I found them right away.
I think it wasn't until I spent some time with the owners manual that I found them on the old dodge.
The worse part is always feeling for them in the non-Jeeps that we own.
