I like the OVERLAND graphics on the hood.
That looks good with the Snazz color.
Jeep should take note of that for their factory graphics.
Sorry but orange and red don't look right on this color to me.
I own a nice flat bed trailer and if I was going to get a pedal boat I would try to put it in the back at an angle up on the bed rails first. Probably upside down
I sure as hell would try before I rented a trailer.
Maybe its just me, but they are not that big or heavy that 2 able body people...
I suspect when new the cables are fine, but over time cables have been known to fail.
I also worry a bit about the added strain the design for the partial closed set up may have on our cables.
My first "car" when I was 16 was a 1968 El Camino.
I hated it, thought it was dorky as hell. It it drove like a boat and was scary as hell in the snow.
It it was cheep at the time being a gas guzzler and my Dad wanted us to have a "truck" in the family so that was what I was getting.
I later...
FYI they are different between the JL and the JT. It is only a hill decent control on the JL that only works going down hill. It is select speed control or "crawl control" on the JT that works all the time.
I wish my JL had the select speed control.
This video convinced me that the stock/base JL platform was good enough for what I was going to be doing when I was first looking at my Wrangler.
Keep in mind this is with the minivan HT tires and no LSD.
It looks like you are walking on the Blackwidow ramp and running the bikes up the ready ramp.
If so, what is the reasoning?
I was thinking if I got a ready ramp I would only use it for the walking ramp due to its shorter overall length.
Yea, When I looked into the Suntop for the Wrangler JL, that is what is involved in rolling it up.
That front retainer bar also gets bolted in place, so you have to unbolt it to remove.
All and all to me it seems more involved and finicky than any Bestop/factory solutions.
To me the only...
Got ya.
BTW retracted doesn't mean the rear window and corners are out.
I run with the top back (retracted), but the windows and corners still in most of the time as its is SUPER quick and easy.
I rarely bother to pull them unless I remove the top all together.
Curious if you find it loud with or without the rear window/side corners in.
I had issues with the straps on the insides of side corners vibrating and being noisy and buzzy at times (mostly strong cross winds).
I put a piece of tape on those straps and it stopped the noise/vibrations.
One of the big reasons I went with the soft top over the hard top is that I can remove it and store it in the bed under my tonneau cover very easily. This works great when traveling as I have my top with me should the weather get bad and/or to button it up at night.
I also liked that if I...
I hope I am wrong, but the Suntops looks like they would be flappy and noisy.
I had considered one to use as an "emergency" top or limited use top for my Wrangler when the hardtop is off.
No way would I replace my Gladiator soft top with that for every day use.
You likely have to make the "slider" bars longer to clear the rear doors and their surrounds.
I still think it is possible, but it would also mean that the roof will sit even further into the bed area.
This might be the real reason they are not doing it.
Not sure what you mean by "blocking the...
