ehhh just got a notice in the mail about this from jeep. Mine's officially on the recall. Why did they wait till 2023 to tell me when its a part that's been recalled on previous models? This WILL be another class action lawsuit.

Any tunes that fix this? I assume someone has made short work of eliminating this.

I ended up bolting a plate to the back of the diff with a long bolt to hold the pinion in place while I hammer the yoke on. Worked fast and easy.

Thanks. I had my suspicion it could require a special tool. I think I'm just going to bolt a bar across the back of the diff and screw a bolt through that until it holds the pinion in place. I am paranoid of bearing damage, however.

nice. Do you happen to have the procedure for installing the pinion? Its hard on the gladiators because you can't just screw down the yoke to press on the external pinion bearing.

I RTFM but apparently I am illiterate because I cannot find the torq spec for the ring gear bolts. The m220 torque spec appears to be >130ft/lbs but I thought past models were far less so I want to make sure I don't damage this gear during install. Its already on its new ARB locker with the...

Does anyone have the oem rubicon part numbers? I am looking for an e locker but the only thing I've seen available are the eatons at $1400/pc.
