Shipping weight for the Armor-Lite + Skid plate is 84lbs.
Shipping weight for the Destroyer series is 137lbs.
So about a 53lb. difference (give or take on the differences in packaging). That's within 7lbs of the shipping weight of a Warn EVO 10-S winch...
They don't hang down very far, very similar to the LoD Destroyer series steel sliders.

Unfortunately the cost of shipping is a killer and for JT sliders it is because of the size.
@jeep1 has it right, it's the oversize packaging that hurts it and UPS really hits you on oversized packages.
It's one of the reasons that Rock Slide Engineering uses a two-piece slider on the JT...
Max Tow and Rubicon axles are the same width, but the axle shafts are different lengths due to the center pin offset in the Rubicon Locker.
I don't have the measurement of the axle shafts here on my desk. Will check to see if we have them written down somewhere.
