Yeah I tried that warranty. Not worth the phone call. Jeep screwed me and denied. The person on the phone that opened my ācaseā didnāt even know about it. I had to send her the link. Denied with no reason or recourse. GG is the biggest ripoff to come out of Jeep.
So to summarize. Over 20 years of Jeep driving experience including plenty of windshield strikes on trails and highways. This is my 4th Jeep. This is the first one with Gorrilla Glass and it is the WORST windshield Iāve ever owned. Iām not aloneā¦. Google itā¦. or not. I donāt care.
Iām glad it worked for you. And yet mine busted up when a small pebble hit on the highway at only a couple of weeks out of the dealership and Jeep, regardless of published warranty, screwed me and refused to fix it. I will tell that to everyone I meet. Thanks.
Gee, Gorilla Glass againā¦. Iām shocked⦠not. When do we start the class action suit?!?!?!? Itās snake oil. Mopar actually has a published two year āwarrantyā on it. Google it, itās online in .pdf from Mopar. Jeep wonāt honor it with no recourse available.
This. 3 Jeeps and 20+ years ago it was rare for me to see another one in my daily drive. Recently I counted 16 Jeeps coming my way in a 17 mile drive around my place. I wave when I see others wave because of camaraderie but I can't say I drive paying attention to see if another Jeep is coming...
I dint want it, it came with my Gladiator. I would have never paid for snake oil after all the stories and bad reviews Iāve read on the internet but I had no choice it was already stuck on the Jeep I wanted.
My experience is me experience. Small pebble hit it shortly after I bought my Jeep...
Gorilla Glass is absolute JUNK!!!!! Broke when a freaking pebble hit it on the highway. Wasn't even that big a pebble!!!
And the warranty that is actually published online that MOPAR offers on the glass is USELES!!! They are supposed to fix/replace if you get a road hazard break under 2" for...
I don't need a truck to haul junk or rocks EVER. My JT is doing RANGE and HUNTING truck stuff. Exactly why I bought my Gladiator for. Couldn't do this with my old JKU...
My Gorilla glass from the factory on my '22 lasted about 3 weeks before a rock chipped it and Jeep DENIED my warrantee claim with no appeal... JUNK!!!! Fortunately my Insurance paid for Gorilla replacement since it was OE after I paid my deductible. The ONLY reason I did it was to keep the...
Wow you guys are very helpful. Youāre giving me a lot of food for thought about future requirements I hadnāt even thought about. I intend to hang on to this vehicle for a long time and flexibility is a consideration. As my dad always told me āBuy right, cry once.ā.
I wonāt need a rack on it. Mostly to protect my hunting and/or camping gear while traveling. General hauling of stuff that I donāt want in the open like range gear, ammo boxes etc.
