I took some quick measurements the top of the hoop sits right at about 27" above the bed rails and it sits about 6" from the body line (shown in pic). I hope that helps give you some idea on how the soft top will interact.

Thanks for asking and we haven't tested it directly on a soft-top JT, but from everything we've seen, the hoop on the BakPak should not interfere with the soft top. Once folded back, the vinyl may touch the hoop, but it shouldn't affect the operation of it.

Good observation and the only reason it's that way currently is because it's an add-on to our OverCab system. We intend to release a lower profile rear hoop for those who just want to run the BakPak by itself.

This version would most likely not be compatible with the X4S or similar covers. We may develop a version that is, but it's not currently in the making.

I hear ya. That's a tall order and we're not quite there yet, but maybe eventually. Accommodating toppers/shells/tonneaus are troublesome, but not unobtainable.

It does clear and also allows for freedom top removal.

Just curious to see what people are doing and being creative with for carrying larger spares. The stock undermount is good up to 37" and carrying anything in the bed ties up vital cargo space. Bumper mounts, bed rack mounts, trailers, etc. What's your preferred way? Or maybe you don't carry...

Our new 392 rack will be out soon and the front bar works awesome as a standalone light bar. We are also coming out with some very unique 2" clamps that work with light bars and round lights, plus anything else you want to mount on vertical/horizontal/diagonal 2" Tubing.

Sorry, I missed this question somehow. right now, we have prototyped front bar for our OverCab rack system to fit Mojave (and 392) hoods and are looking to test fit the prototype. Similar to the one shown on this pics here (Rubicon Model)

Thanks for asking, the most recent project was for our new rack system. We needed to test fit the front hoop and make sure everything fits well. Sometimes we need to test fit a suspension part or maybe scan in an area so that we can build a prototype in CAD. It varies month to month.
