So it went pretty well..Thanks for the advice gentlemen!
I went with the 2" drop hitch that I bought from Lowes..But I had taken the straight one just in case. It was a 112mile trip on the way up and I didn't even feel it. The trailer had a 55mph speed limit so I had the cruise control...
Not everything will fit in the trailer so I’ll have to do a combination of both. I’d rather load more on the truck as a matter of convenience. I have the straight hitch but just got back from Lowes with a hitch with a 2”drop. Hopefully I don’t need it and can return it. Funny thing. On the way...
Yes. I'd rather keep most of the weight on the truck instead of the trailer. I was able to load 90 cases last time. Could have probably loaded more but I don't want to go over the height of the roof in the back...Especially when it's windy.
I have to pick up 162 cases of needles and I'm renting a small trailer from U-Haul. Do I need a hitch with a drop or rise, or is a level one fine? Any other advice or tips is greatly appreciated.
Thank you
If the truck would have behaved this way from day one then it’s obvious I was pushing it beyond it’s limits. But this thing drove better than most cars at 85+ For the first 8k miles.
So clearly something is broken.

Good info in this thread. I went kicker all around and it sounds night and day from stock. And that's without changing the knee speakers. I'm probably changing those and adding a small kicker...
I played with the air pressure today and moved it up from 36psi to 38psi. It mitigated the problem quite a bit. I only got the wobble 3 maybe 4x. I'm going to try 39psi tomorrow. I tried an independent shop down here as well...a very reputable one and they found nothing. I feel they brushed...
