Woah, hold up. First of all, are you just here to troll? Because this is a technical thread, and the topic is clearly identified. I'm not a fan of diesels, but I don't dive in there just to tell people I disagree with them. Second, whether or not you thin it's a stupid law, it's still a law...
HAH! My Ridgeline had the same problem. You can load the trunk under the bed with ice, but it doesn't help with a cooler, because it has its own lid, which you can't remove. So this issue followed me from the Honda, which actually has slightly LESS room between the tonneau and the bed floor...
Update: got confirmation email with call sign on Tuesday. So no issues, but "You're all set, please allow 2-7 days for us to process your application" would have been nice. :) All legal now!
Watched the video-should have watched that first. ? is it possible to create a shorter upright? This works be super versatile if I had the option to use a minimum upright, even attach the rail mounts flush up against the feet, for use with bikes or similar.
Ok, just looked at those Coyote mirrors. Those do look nice. Can the mounts stay in place, and just pull the mirror arms off, or do you have to remove that cowl bolt each time? Thanks!
Thanks! I'll look into them, but I just plan to weld a stop arm to these so that it can't pivot inward, and wrap it in silicone tape to protect the paint. I don't do hardcore offroading, so that shouldn't be a problem.
Just went in to put in my application. I *THINK* I did it. I got a registration number and confirmation that I paid, but nothing else. Do you typically have to wait and receive an email after a few days or something?
I'm assuming the "Static" weight limit would apply to a roof top tent in use, while parked? Not that I anticipate having 750 lbs in the tent, but could have 500.
