Set for an UNloaded truck? Everything Ive read says to load it for a realistic scenario, then adjust the hitch. Or am I misunderstanding something? I put 40 lbs in my Firestone bags, passengers in the truck, then set the hitch with a typically loaded trailer. Within 1/4" on the front, drives...
That's good to know. Because I love the way it tows. Maybe I'll just get a second set of second-hand wheels with 33s for off-road adventures, and be done with it.
If you're not willing to break up the band, then yes, Just the spare. No, it doesn't have a sensor. :) I'm in Fredericksburg. How does Saturday look for you? Address? And do you PayPal? If not, I can get cash. Thanks!
Actually, if you're willing to break up the set, I'd be interested in one silver wheel and one tire. You know, for a matching spare. Do they still have the TPMS sensors in them? Thanks! Not even my dealer can get these tires, for whatever crazy reason.
Sorry, I didn't get a notice that you had replied. Would you consider selling the tires individually? I only need one. If not, I'll take the spare. And I turned on notifications this time. ;)
I'm considering the leveling kit and lower control arms. Bill, I know that you tow. How would this affect tow rating, since it's just the front. Would it? I struggle with suspension geometry and the effectsmon tow/haul capacity. I'm stock Max Tow, with coil-rite airbags.
I think that the fact that you are asking should indicate that you're not convinced. Really, Id think the Tundra, Ram, or F150 would better suit your needs.
I was looking at that, but I'm an almost complete novice, no lift. Peter's Mill is my only point of reference- are any trails comparable in terms of clearance?
Just did this- definitely fun! My first time on a trail, and I lost a tire. But I got to experience a tire change on an uneven surface. Had a great support team! And yes, I was aired down to 25. My wife was panicked at first, because she didn't realize I had a spare under the bed. ?
Finished up (for now) The air bag set-up. Rear Schrader valve inlet, 100psi gauge in the rear bumper, 70 psi blow-off valve (max for Firestone coil-rites), which is also REALLY helpful for fast airing down after trailer disconnect.
