The Lomax arrived today. It took about 20 minutes to put the rails and everything on. The instructions were fairly clear but doing it by myself made me really wonder where my spring clamps are hiding but if you had a person helping it would be 10-15 minutes total after figuring how the rail is...
I hear ya! I am about 35 miles out of Chicago so I could drive up there no problem but we will see when this thing gets delivered and with my luck I will get irritated now that I decided to spend the money that I don't have it this weekend. The main reason I didn't go WT is that they don't...
I am looking for options as well, going from a 2 door JK to the JT the top is right in the middle of the garage and without removing my built in workbench I can remove the top but then I cannot park underneath it like with the JK so I am trying to figure out either a way to slide the lift...

Compared to my JK the satellite reception is horrid, I can't even use it in my driveway with the JT even though the JK had no issues in the driveway. Sometimes I drive a couple blocks before it can lock a signal.
Thanks for the heads up on the Lomax! Free shipping may have made my decision but I will sleep on it since I was originally set on the extang soft folding due to price but I always knew I preferred the idea of a hard folding cover but was being cheap after dropping 50k on Spartacus.
I am also conflicted as I was looking at a soft tri-fold due to price and how easy it would be to remove until I saw the weathertech last night. I personally think the weathertech looks nicer but we are stuck looking at pictures at the moment. I am more interested in something I can remove...
I was looking at the weather tech cover last night and debating the price as it is less expensive than other hard covers. According to the site it is a no drill installation and the cover can handle 400 pounds evenly distributed. The cover is supposed to be 60 pounds and based on the video you...
How are you getting the top on the 2x4's ? I like the idea and may have to copy it due to the space in my garage. With the top being right in the middle of the garage no matter if I back in or not the top is directly underneath my door opener. I literally just got back from a tip to harbor...
I have been driving nothing but 2 door wranglers and my motorcycle for over ten years and the constant need for a truck was getting to me because just going to Sam's club or the grocery store with my JK had to be planned out. I like you don't drive many miles a month and two months in my only...
Mine had 16 and I was the only test drive after the dealership did their "safety check" as I had to come back the next day before they would allow any test drives. Needless to say first test drive and bought it two hours later. Straight off the truck overland in black. No special order.
While I am not a fan of touch screen radios the audio itself is excellent for OEM. To be honest without modifying for major speaker upgrades I am beyond surprised and highly doubt I will look at aftermarket audio modifications. Now I have bumps while riding bumps.
