ok, I take back what i said previously, theres TONS of pressure from the JT community on you.. lol Hey, that is a nice bronco. I know, sacrilege, but I like the broncos.
Great idea on the jack stand support for extension. May have to try that. I just snagged this icon to attempt to get my LCA's to torque spec. All I had was the Pittsburg wrench.
I'll add mine to the thread. Was going to get their skid plate to go with it, but looks like that jumped in price along with everything else. Painted with herculiner. I didnt have good luck with the rustoleum bed liner previously
Took me multiple times to get into 4lo. that effer is still hard to get into but it is getting easier. Of course i didnt think about breaking that in until I was at a trail head and i held up the convoy slightly.
Anyone have this issue or is this a "me" problem. When I grab the internal handle to close the door, it sounds like its pulling away from the panel, like separating glue. kinda has that sticky separating sound. Now that I heard it once, its all I hear when I close the door while Im in it. I...
The nice thing about the mopar one, compared to some others, is that it doesnt interfer with the trail rail. I dont know how many do, but my cover is attached via the trail rail so sections of the rail get "blocked" off by the clamps.
if its nice out, dont drive it off the lot with top down. I have had this terrible wind noise coming through door seal that i didnt hear from the lot bc it was nice and i immediatly put the top down. After being in the shop 4 times, they told me it cant be fixed and i have to live with it.
hard to tell. Looks a little off. Mine is clear. I had the JT in the shop and they gave me the dang '23 renegade as a loaner, the backup was terrible, made me appreciate how crisp ours is
I love camping with the JT. So much easier to pack up. Wish we had overlanding locations but, there are decent state parks. Cant wait to upgrade the popup to a small BH camper. Northhampton campground (buddy - red jeep) and I and then thompsons lake - NY. My son just had to hide in the bed. lol
I like how the interior panel gives that mechanical feel, with all these switches. Also, reminds me of an airplane. As much as I love my tech, I love when vehicles remind you, you're driving a machine, not a machine driving you. One reason miss my manual.
I had something similar happen on JK. did brakes and next day had a few places to run to. I hear this terrible grinding sound. one of the caliper bolts came lose so the caliper was partially on and resting against the rim.
