Yeah that's the long one that I want to check out some time. It takes you up into Thomas Mountain from down in Hemet. Thanks for the website! When bringing pets and family solo any info i can get is great.
Have you done the Bee Canyon to San Jacinto Truck trail? I seen people doing this with snow on the ground and during a light rain on youtube so i have to assume its not too bad. Kind of want to try this one out. Rouse Trail videos seem like its pretty cool drive.
Thats awesome man! That story made my night. Lol sounds like some of my luck too. I just discovered yesterday you can take Rouse Hill Truck trail in Hemet all the way to Thomas then down the southside of Thomas. I don't know if I got the guts to do it alone with the family but it's definitely...
Some pictures of Idyllwild on 4th of July. We took our dog to meet the mayor Max. Got a free tie and he is now deputy mayor. Lots to do on Idyllwild. We went up to Humber park and walked the dogs on Ernie Maxwell trail for a while. We just needed to get our older dog away from the fireworks...
Not much of a journal but some pictures for anyone who might be interested in camping/ off roading in the national forest near Idyllwild California (The other big mountain near Big Bear). A lot of forest service roads and truck trails in the area. Yellow post campsites for free camping. Hiking...
I didn't read hardly any of the thread but seems like people took it pretty personal. OP seemed to just point out all the people who build a seriously offroad capable expensive jeep but never intend to take it off road. I see the irony in that. It's like building a race car that you never...
I have had to use my Mojave for the last few months of working. We do home remodeling. So far, it's been fine. I can fit everything I need in the bed. The backseats could be deleted to hold more stuff, but I don't need that area. The only thing I am missing is maybe a rack to hold larger...
My 4.0 is still humming along. The brittle wires are becoming an issue in that baby though. I demand that both of my gladiators treat me the same as my XJ. For the 90k I am in debt for the two I figure they will need to last me at least 30 more years of trouble-free daily driving.
This got me thinking and after a quick google search, starter interrupter devices have been around a long time, an article had GM putting a device in cars in 2014 to allow police to turn them off. So as dale gribble as it sounds they probably could turn your JT off if they wanted to. I mean i am...
Stupid Poll and question. But I'm considering moving from Southern California to Northern Idaho... A few people have said you will hate it because it gets super cold. And not to do it. For any members who live up north or where you get an extremely harsh winter, do you have opinions? Are you...
So i got the Email that my Gobi arrived at Gupton. Jeep tracker said shipping date was TBD. So now i just need to organize shipping to my house after finance stuff is done.
