I feel for you brother. I did a fluid change just a month ago prior to a 3 week wheeling trip, put the identical filler tip in and ALMOST lost it inside. Needle nose pliers saved me so nothing like your anxiety but I surely recognized it could have gone way worse.

Today is third day in Silverton. Different members did different trails today. Son and I ran Red Mountain Pass. 5/10 rating, loose rock, some off camber turns but scenic.

After a rest day in Silverton yesterday, hit Ophir Pass today. Ran it in both directions so we'd end up back at camp.

My son calls this condition 'Party Time'. IYKYK. Love him

Day 1 in the books. Group made Buck Island Lake to camp. No damages. moonrise over the lake.

Headed north of Gerlach NV (site of Burning Man ) to run High Rock Canyon trail. 6.5 hours, saw not a soul. Good trail, incredible views. Way remote to get to though. Definitely for those seeking it out, not a "while I'm in the area".

Through the magic of Starlink I'll be trying to post pics after each day's ride. Knocked out 1,000 miles on first day driving, 800 the next. So tonight we in Salt Lake. Reno tomorrow. Then meet the group to start Rubicon on Thursday 7th.
