  1. 11.5 vs 12.5 Wide Tires

Ride and handling, probably notice it smoother, squishier, and more roll in corners. Nothing alarming though. Wildpeaks are quiet compared to others, but also one of the heaviest. As far as load capability the truck is still the limiting factor. Tires are capable of more than the truck...
  2. Auto Start/Stop to be removed says EPA chief

Everyone is so wrapped up around "removing" ESS, they don't NEED to remove it, just program it to remember the last setting. This is already the case across multiple other manufactures. The vehicle will still have it, but the owner can opt to "permanently" enable/disable. Regarding batteries...
  3. What's your take: TearDrop / SquareDrop / Micro-Camper/Trailer

It appears this thread has deviated some from the original post, but heres my .02 for anyone coming here looking for insight. I built my 5x8 off-road camper back in 2022. Steel framing, insulated walls, alum skin, 5x8 cabin, Flexiride half axle torsion suspension, 12v solar power, on-board...
  4. Post up your cold air intakes and experience? Looking for better mpg

A CAI does not allow it to breathe better or more efficiently. Naturally aspirated engines get air from vacuum, it will only draw as much as it will draw. What it does do is it allows you to draw in cooler air. Cooler/colder air = more dense air. More dense air = more fuel can be added. More...
  5. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Sweet thanks. They did recently revise the panels to be .125 alum and have a bend for rigidity. Apparently these are the panels I'll be getting as thats why I haven't received them yet, I guess they don't fit the boxes that they used for the previous version. They also just posted to their...
  6. First Moab Wheeling Trip at the end of June 2025

If you DO want to camp, theres plenty of FCFS sites in the La Sal mountains (east of Moab and west of Monticello) that will be a lot cooler temps at night because of the elevation. Some of the sites can be some fun roads (nothing difficult, just good views).

That the Rebel half rack? Don't suppose you could measure the length of the side plates? I'm STILL waiting on mine, it's been over a month and I keep getting different excuses as to why they haven't shipped. I'm about to tell them to refund me the cost of the plates and I'll draw some up in...
  8. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

I see you and your bugs, and raise you more bugs... this was roughly a 20 mile stretch. Had to stop and wash windows twice, washer fluid and wipers wasn't doing it. Gross

Yeah spring time here gets pretty bad, but this year we are going through a unusual hot spell for this time of year (in the 90's), so bugs are coming out thick near any water. I don't even want to know what the mayflies are like around their common spots, they get bad enough during normal...

What kind of policy do you have? I'll be talking to my agent once I get my truck setup.
  11. Oracle flush tail light warranty experience.

Yes, and that was posted June of 2023. OP bought lights December 2024, over a year after these lights were supposedly fixed and still had faults, and within a few months. Not a year later, not two years later, but when these products are still almost new.
  12. Oracle flush tail light warranty experience.

Good customer service is great and all, but a company should strive to provide a product that doesn't need to be replaced. Regardless of how great or quick their customer service is, after all of these years they are still selling the same faulty product, and that is the very reason I will never...

Does the armorlite run up high on the edges under the trim? I've been thinking about going this route in hopes it will be easier to clean in the winter by just running some water over it, but I don't want it to leak over the edges and get underneath and freeze. EDIT: Nevermind, I see in other...

I had to stop twice to clean the windshield in 20 miles. I also had the freedom panels off and have a few stuck to the inside of the windshield also 😆

Well I WILL be giving it a bath after work....
  16. EOC Stage 1 Tune Options - Your experience?

Did you send a new email, or did you reply to one you received from them? Apparently they just ignore any NEW emails that aren't a reply to an order or previous correspondence. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/having-problems-getting-in-touch-with-eoc-this-might-be-why.92935/
  17. Michigan Upper Penninsula

Ahhh you were in the same area we stayed a few years ago. Theres quite a few spots I want to check out off of Coast Guard Line Road. Last time I had an AWD SUV and didn't want to chance it.
  18. Show and Tell:Ecodiesel maximum towing capabilities

While this is true, apparently we also bought the wrong truck to tow 2k lbs thanks to the inadequate cooling.
  19. 3W Bed Mat installed photos & review

Yeah I message them about it. Overall they are a great product.
  20. When to use/not use 4x4? Overheating diffs, transfer cases etc.

I agree with everyone here, I just wanted to see if there was something I was missing with the whole claim. I do believe that most of the folks I've heard talk about it are in the Tacoma world, so maybe theres something about the Taco that has issues. I personally never had issues with my 3rd...
