Your Gladiator is fierce @Pat2Alaska, I can't rock those decals and the literal gladiator name cuz it wouldn't fit my personality LOL Idk if that makes sense but that's how I feel...
I can see how the names I chose can be meek or tame cuz I am a pretty laid back mellow dude and I feel like I can't relate to an aggressive name on the truck LOL
But, I love the assists here please keep 'em coming and we will land on something soon :like::rock:
I guess you and I are the only anime geeks who knows Faye Valentine LOL
And, if you know the anime series - she is anything but meek/weak - she is a total badass :)
If you have a Gladiator without the switch group, you can verify the wiring by removing the paneling on the passenger side and look under there. It is pretty easily accessible.
My guess would be there is no wiring - it just feels like a lot of work on their part.
hmm, in that case they must be horns (I'll take a pic later)? You are prolly a good guy to ask this question - do you know of a service manual that is the best available for the JT that shows what is what under the hood and explains the different parts? Too early for a Chilton? I would love to...
LOL Sorry, I was being rather dumb there haha...
I didn't end up installing it yet, because it is not as straightforward as their video said and we have to remove a couple more bolts possibly they are collision sensors beside the camera in the LE? They look like horns... I figured I would do...
Yeah, I plan on buying a few too @JT614 ... Plus, when I install my winch I noticed I can reuse some of those clips from the front bumper too... Thanks for the information guys, appreciate it!
So, while I was installing the dirty acres grille insert, I accidentally dropped one of those plastic clips that hold the front grille down (the snap on clips) somewhere near the intake opening? I looked everywhere and couldn't find it - so will this do some damage if it gets into the intake or...
So @ralphjjr - regarding the install did you just follow the installation steps for the JL and did you have to do anything different for the JT? Do you plan on giving us a write up of your install or you think the installation video is sufficient? Thanks!
:CWL::LOL: That was hilarious. Thanks you two for a great laugh @bgenlvtex and @steffen707 , I did laugh out loud for a bit! I know it was a bit of harsh dark humor but I am sure Dr. Hawking would have enjoyed it too! :giggle:
Well, I have driven my Gladiator for less than 100 miles so far and I am already annoyed by the ESS intermittent or not, I just find it super annoying. The first thing I am going to do after I get the Tazer Mini is to disable this crap forever cuz I don't always remember to turn it off before...
I got the lock lug nuts but I had to pay like $100 for it. I am pretty sure @BeepBeepIAmAJeep 's dealer threw them in for him. Good on him and his dealer! I did negotiate and get free all weather mats tho :D... I figured why not negotiate and see what I can get for free ;)
