Still over the listed payload for a max tow so likely a manual sport.
  2. Questions for the gurus

You can now get the 8.4 with nav on the sport s. As well as the body colored fenders if you dont get max tow.
  3. Questions for the gurus

That is bone stock no option manual sport. 1535 is the max payload for the max tow and they dont exist.
  4. Questions for the gurus

Show me proof. I've seen an overland and sport s on a lift and they have the same springs. There are labels with the spring code and they match. Find me a max tow on a lot with a payload anywhere near 1550 lbs. They dont exists.
  5. Questions for the gurus

Exactly they are wider that's it. They are not beefier as you had said. The sport and sport s without max tow are exactly the same as the overland.
  6. Questions for the gurus

This is incorrect again. The sport axels are the same as the overland. The overland is just a better optioned sport.
  7. Questions for the gurus

The max tow package is listed on the right and there is no mention of suspension in max tow package and there never has been. Untill I see proof I dont believe the suspension is different.
  8. Questions for the gurus

The max tow has the same suspension as the sport and the overland. The only difference between the max tow and the overland with tow is the 4.1 final drive and the slightly wider axles. Load up a max tow with options like the overland and the payload drops. Especially the hard top. Check out...
  9. And again more tire questions - Overland

The ones I received were like new. They are are large scrap yard in austin. Anyway, you are talking about getting used Rubicon wheels. Good luck but you are not going to see any difference with the AT tires compared to the duelers.
  10. And again more tire questions - Overland

I bought these for my snow tires. $210 for a set of 4 shipped 2 day. You can get snow tires for $100 to $125 shipped on discount tire or giga tire. Max you will spend is $600 and you will be much happier with the winter performance...
  11. And again more tire questions - Overland

I had the At3Ws on my ram and they are not great in packed snow or ice. About the same as our stock duelers. The most expensive all season/ all terrain will be worse then the cheapest dedicated winter tire. It comes down to the compound. An all season tire can never be as soft as a true winter...
  12. And again more tire questions - Overland

The at3ws are ok in the snow but they stink on ice and slush. Just get a set of dedicated snow tires and be done with it.
  13. Manual Transmission Club

It didn't need a 7 speed. It just needed one over drive instead of two and another gear between 2 and 4. I've never seen another 6 speed with two overdrives, especially on such a low torque engine.
  14. Body color fenders available for Sport!

The door panels are soft touch and the lower dash all around is soft touch. The center console and arm rests are padded and covered in "leather".
  15. Body color fenders available for Sport!

The overland is way misunderstood among this group. All it is, is a sport with more options. It starts with the same capability as the sport and it comes with the heavy duty brakes standard with the heavy duty+ suspension. The payload is less because the options list is higher to start with...
  16. Let's talk about winter issues

My Overland with a LSD and snow tires was great in the snow. It did fishtail a little more then my Ram with the same setup but was easier to control. I think the wide gearing of the manual may also be a benefit here as it's never really in the meat of the torque band.
  17. Manual Transmission Club

It's fine on highways when going 70 to 80 mph, although 6th is pretty redundant. It's really in the 30 to 65 mph range where there is no good gear. Your either not able to maintain speed going up hill or having to shift a whole bunch because there is a gear missing in there to make way for the...
  18. Manual Transmission Club

Stock overland size tires. I could barely maintain 55 mph up hill even in 4th. I had to down shift to 3rd to pass in most instances. Then uou are in this strange spot where the engine is whaling but if you down shift 4th is to tall to maintain speed. We're talking steep rolling hills with short...
  19. Manual Transmission Club

Took the manual Gladiator on a long trip through the hills of VT and NH this weekend and I stand by my original impression that this transmission is crap due to the gearing. It is just downright embarrassing how poorly the gearing is spaced for driving on anything but flat highways. Trying to...
