I agree. Either move the jeep back or drop the plow down to the deck (this would be better anyway). With the plow off the ground the weigh is transferred to the back wheel. You might actually have to do both to find the sweet spot.
Do you have a brake controller on the JT?
For something like weāre talking about you definitely should consider heavier spring than what comes on the Mopar lift.
I went with the AEV lift and they give you an option of 2 different heavier springs. I believe that you can just order the springs but I would not recommend that.
I have the AEV version of this lift and it works great. I have a Rubicon with 35ās so I canāt comment on the gearing except to say if you went with 37ās youāll definitely feel it.
We are going to Europe this summer to retrace my FIL WW2 campaign From Omaha Beach through the Arden Forrest to the shore of the Rhine River.
It is a retirement present to my wife who has been wanting to do this since I met her over 40 years ago!
Interesting video.
Iām about to do a drain and fill on my automatic transmission and wondering if anyone knows of a clear and concise set of instructions on the best way to do it. I thought someone here and done a detailed write up or linked to one but I couldnāt find it.
Thanks.
I donāt think the price for the Jeep is bad but as others have said the trade in is low. Someone mentioned Carmax or Carvana. I would run it by them and if they offer a better deal let the dealer know this is what he has to meet otherwise just sell it to the highest bidder.
Iām sure weāve discussed this before but I couldnāt find any info on it.
Has anyone successfully installed this bumper? If so did you have to do any mods? Were you able to use your existing bash plate?
Heres the bumper in question...
