I don’t think the price for the Jeep is bad but as others have said the trade in is low. Someone mentioned Carmax or Carvana. I would run it by them and if they offer a better deal let the dealer know this is what he has to meet otherwise just sell it to the highest bidder.

Thanks for the reply. I am going to try this today with a dealership. They have a Rubicon, but no the Rubicon X but the price is a bit less and I dont really need the leather seats and power. The only thing I really want is the Steel front bumper, which with the savings on price I might just by myself and put on. I appreciate the insight into how they're going to flip my vehicle. I have all of my maintenance records. Does that matter at all to them? I know for private sale it can be helpful.
Unfortunately I doubt it, they want to give you the least amount possible, put as little into it while making it look as good as possible and sell it for as much as they can. Dealers make more on used cars than the new vehicles.
