EDIT: THE ISSUE WAS A BAD SEAL BEWTWEEN THE TCASE AND TRANSMISSION, SEE POST #5 FOR DETAILS.
After a 2,500 mile road trip I found a leak that appeared to at the seal between the transfer case and transmission. I could see trans fluid from the transmission drain plug back to the transfer case...

Wheels and tires are in excellent condition. One scuff pictured. Approximately 1 year old and 10,000 miles on the set. 4 Quadratec Hardrock wheels mounted on BFG KO2 tires plus an unused spare tire. Used tires measure at 12/32 and the unused spare has full tread 15/32.
