Looking at the wheel offerings, I like the Willys best followed by the standard Mojave wheels. Not sure I'll upgrade to the '24. I do hate my 7" radio but I can't justify the '24 just based on that. Now if 4.10s were offered on the Willys, that would certainly motivate me.
I've had 33 cars in my short life. About the only thing that made a similar clunk/noise that I was able to pinpoint and solve was the driveshaft uni joint that went bad. Happened to two cars. Nose went away after that.
I think the MPG would improve if pre-programmed since the shift points are slightly off. That happened to JK I had when I did 33". After using the procal I regained some of the lost MPG.
I'm thinking I can use a rachet strap attached to the frame and use it to pull the axle. Someone please tell me if there is an easier way without using a vehicle lift. Thanks.
Had the JT aligned today and they supposedly centered the axle but it is still sticking out about an inch to the left if standing in front of the vehicle. It drives prefect and no issues pulling to the sides, wobble etc. But it bugs me to know it isn't centered. Going to jack it and try to...
Great idea! I'm going to check out those Apache cases from HF. Right now all I have mounted on my 18" Hooke Road rack are two 2.6 Gal fuel tanks on the drivers side and two traction boards on the passenger side. I'd like to use a case for tools and another one for recovery gear. I was thinking...
Interesting. I did the 1.5 TF and the axle shifted to the right, if the sitting inside. I haven't yet taken it for alignment because I'm debating if I install the geo brackets. I have stock control arms and after the leveling they no longer sit parallel to the ground as expected. The reason I am...
After requesting quotes locally to install the leveling kit, sway bar links, teraflex shock extension brackets, geo brackets and track bar, I decided to do it myself. Two shops never called me back the third one wanted $580 plus tax and shop supplies just for the leveling kit, track bar and...
I received my Warn Evo 10S yesterday looks beefy. I was surprised at how heavy it is even with it having synthetic rope. I wanted to install today the bumper and winch today but my wife had other plans. We are hitting the farmers market. Too bad there isn't a Jeep vendor at the market. Wait...
Thanks for the part number Shadows. I wouldn't mind having a gantry crane. If I had to pick, I'd go for a car lift and a chain hoist. Not sure a metal car garage can support the hoist.
Not knowing how loud you like playing your music, you can either change all the speakers, add external amp and a sub or like in my case, I just swapped the dash speakers for Infinity Reference and added a Bazooka 6" sub under the rear seat. Believe it or not, that easy upgrade changed the sound...
Received my knock off bumper today. The packaging was very good. No shipping damage from what I can see. The finish looks great. My only concern is the winch plate which seems a little thin but I think it will work. Wife won't approve me buying a plate. I think I got a killer deal. The bumper...
