I did drill yes, there is a plastic plug in the front that I used to run my cables and yes I just ran them in the frame from the battery. I did a fuse by the main crank battery and then a second one in the back just to be safe.

I was finally able to build my shelve in the back of the RLD. My power side is on the passenger side, I’ll install a RedArc BCDC1225D in the open space. On my roof rack I’m installing the 200W Renogy Solar kit. To better manage weight I’ll install the accessory deep cycle battery in the bed. The...

I’m running the 3” RockKrawler triple rated springs in the back. Helps to keep it nice and level with a 2” lift in the front.

It’s a bit of a mix of soft sand, deep ruts and extremely steep. Bigger tires would have helped.

I was able to take a nice look at the top of my RLD yesterday

On the inside, both sides have to be bent to get it a nice fit. I don’t have my Gladiator with me at the moment so can’t take a better photo sorry.

Did you bend the front plates for a better fitment?

I don’t have a rack mounted but I do have my RTT directly mounted. I did see a rhino rack mounted directly I believe it was someone on here.

I went for the 3” RockKrawler springs in the back (1” higher than the front). They are quad rated so handles the load ok. When we are fully loaded for camp I have quite a bit of sway (it’s scary) so I’m looking at options for better shocks at the moment.

Decided to see what it looks like with the tube doors today. Must say I do like the look.

Yea it’s directly mounted. I like the fact that it’s a bit lower but now mounting an awning is difficult. I’m not sure about the RLD load bars, I still prefer the typical Rhino Rack bars as you can add more accessories to it.

I just had my cross bars delivered, I went from having no bars last week and stressing about mounting my RTT to now having 8 cross bars (4 Reese's Explorer Cross Bar, 2 x Smittybilt Bars and 2 RLD)... Anyone in SOCAL interested in the RLD bars let me know what you have to offer. They were...

I did reach out to them and they said the only option at the moment is to use the roof. I though about making a bracket that sits inside. That would leave the window open for me and one rotopax on each side. You will need to open the door to get to them but I'm ok with that. I cant wait to see...

Hahaha no I don’t think we really need it but we got a crazy deal on the trailer. It does make life easier. We will see where life takes us and where the trailer ends up in it all. We do not have a kitchen in the trailer is basically just a full size bed and storage. With the canopy now I’ll...

We hit some nice trails with a few people this weekend (we social distances as much as possible) and we were very impressed with how sturdy the canopy is. I snapped the bolt holding my sway bar to the lower control arm but the canopy and tent is still in perfect shape.

We have two kids and dogs. The kids are now at a stage where they like to sleep without us and we’re equally happy to sleep without them . When we hit harder trails we will use the RTT only but easy trails etc we will bring the trailer. We’re also excited to build and upgrade the trailer a bit...
