I commute as well, not 33k a year but I do about 25k a year. If it’s all commute then that’s one thing if you are driving for work then there should be mileage, gas, and or car allowance imo... But to answer the question it has to be something near 30 mpg or better (average). At 2.50 a gallon...

I like to keep my jeep windshields pre treated with rainx. This is mostly for bugs... as far as washer fluid, I like the orange stuff Costco sells that is either rainx or similar that say it helps with bugs... but I’ll other in a pinch.

Get a hard folding cover, I have an undercover flex... also have 3 kids. The cover keeps the bed dry and it can be a big trunk when you need it. Locks with the tailgate and has a hold open feature... just my .02 but has been very useful to me.
