I agree. I think there is enough information in the 3 plus leasing threads to answers 90% of the questions. I am with @ralphjjr, do the numbers. Balance your needs and wants. Be truthful with yourself on what your wants are and the cost. Car buying to me is also an emotional purchase. Not...
As a fellow Eagle Scout. I can help you put the right numbers together . Not that I wouldn't have helped anyway.
Residual is a percentage of the MSRP. Not your negotiated sales price. So that 5 to 7% off is like a down payment as far as your monthly payment calculator.
The money factor/...
Love the added point about ICE. I believe the same thing. It is another reason why leasing makes more sense now then ever. I don't want to take the bath when ICE car values take a dive. The cliff is coming. ICE is on the way out and electrical is still too new. In 3 to 5 years the market...
I can clearly see you have no clue what your talking about. You just like to spread untrue statements based on what others have told you.
Leasing is not renting. You are paying for only the equity you are using. You still get equity out if the value is more than you paid in.
Leasing is...
The problem with your posts is that you are using other poeple's decisions as an reason not to do something. You haven't done the math yourself. You haven't looked at the risk level of each option. You haven't factored in other needs/wants.
The piont that many on here keep making is do...

My guess is that they are for using the panels with the back of the roof off. I know the JK had two tabs on the back that would flip down.
Without a picture it is hard to tell.
Your welcome. I was a buy only guy for a long time. It was more due to putting 20,000 miles a year on a car. Now that I don't do that anymore. Leasing make sense for what I want.
with cars getting close and sometimes more than a house payment, why take on the risk.
Work the paperwork to...
I agree, the renegotiate has to work for them too. If you are turning in a car with a residual value of 40,000 and a market value of 30,000. They are going to be hard pressed to find a better buyer than you (if you want the car). They most likely have insurance that make up some of that Delta...
Not always but sometimes they can/do. It is not the dealer to say. It is the leasonf company you are working a deal with. If not you can walk away and not pay a dime more.
I see negative equity at the end of a lease as a good thing. It set up for a way for you to buyout at a lower price if you want. I have friends that have done this with as much as 10 grand off. 10 grand is a lot and not what I would foresee. If the difference is big. 2 or 3 grand would be...
You didn't really order your JK. The dealer found one in stock some where or you happen to want the same options of one they already ordered. The factory can't build a jeep and have it at the dealer in a half day. Just doesn't work that way. They work with about a month backlog.
Dealers...
