Pre spec and Launch Editions are not the same and are not being made at the same time. Pre spec the factory chooses what to make without input from dealers or customers. They ship the pre spec to dealers to be sold on lots. Dealer orders and customer orders start after pre spec. Think about...
For all the poeple complaining about not having a VIN yet or why haven't LE's shipped yet. Have any of you custom order a car before? The sooner you put in you head a late May or June delivered date the better. I would be happy if it happens sooner but I am not expecting anything sooner...
Yeap. I pulled the number off the builter on the site. Use the logic above to work the numbers for the rates you can get outside FCA .
My question is there lease companies out side FCA you can use? I know I can get a car loan in a few hours and walk into a dealer with a check. I haven't...
When you lease or buying with a loan, you pay interest. For a loan FCA is charging 4.46%. On the lease they are charging 5.208% (this is also call the money factor). This .62% difference is really the cost of removing the risk for you to them.
For leasing and buying with a loan you paid...
Please reread what drogers was talking about. It was not a statement about v6 vs. v8. It was a statement about electrical systems in cars . You are missing the point made.
You are forgetting to break out the interest part of the payment. You are still borrowing someone else's money in a lease. Plus if the car is worth more at the end you can get that value back to use it on a new car or buy it out and sell it yourself.
I wouldn't say that. It depends on the goals of the customer. If you are only looking at the monthly payment there are ways for the dealer to game you for both leases and buys. When you know the numbers behind the payment you can win out. Especially if don't care if you have the car long...
Your right and it never will. If it gets totaled it will not bring you any more from insurance ethier. It is the same way with any limited edition made by anyone. You have to do private sales to get that extra money back. Companys pull numbers for sales data in the state and zip code you are...
You missed my point. The LEs are guaranteed to be fully loaded, others are not. On the use market that will mean something. It is not that you can't get the same options another way. With a 15000 plus dollar difference due to option chances. It will make them stand out. Aka market value...
I agree there the LE's will have a higher value than other Rubucons not because they have specific badging. It will be because they are will be fully loaded. That is the value.
Talked the dealer when ordered the truck. As soon as the normal orders open up we will work a way out to get one. When you do the dual top option, the soft top is just shipped in a box with the vehicle anyway. It shouldn't be an issue. Just need to be patient .
Nope and I don't expect one for a couple weeks. I will be happy if it happens faster. I am looking forward to seeing them on dealer lots. Hopefully be able to test drive one soon.
As a person that has custom ordered 4 other Vehicles (2 of them from FCA). This is very much like any other custom order. The only added step was a website starting point. This was only done so FCA could ensure the customers got the first shot at them. The dealers will get the left overs. As...
It doesn't matter if they are the same but different colors. It still is a custom order. It follows the same process. Poeple need to chill out and be patient. FCA is still working to ensure dealers didn't game the system to get a LE to mark up on their lots.
Planned for what? LE wasn't even known to the public until after the production started. The LE's are custom orders. It takes time to process them. They are not built before being ordered. Are you expecting a billion dollar company to stop the production line until a vehicle you just ordered...
I agree, the pivot to electric is one of the reasons it will be leasing for the first time. It gives more 4 years to relook at the market and see what electric brings. If needed I will buy out the lease.
I have a 2014 Durango about the same towing capacity with an earlier version of the same engine and 8 speed transmission. Plenty of get up and go . If you are worried remember you have 8 speeds. A lot can be done with gearing. Plus the v6 of today just as if not more powerful of the v8's 20...
