$2300 installed. Also came with cross bars that I could install into some t-slots on the top, but don't think I'll do that until I have a reason to. I have Mojave X springs and airlift bags (currently set at the min 5 psi) in the back. Total change in weight from what I had on is <100lbs. Don't...
Swapped out my tonneau cover and billiebars for an aluminum topper. Found a guy selling them out of his garage for a good price including installation. Gotta be buying in bulk straight from China and reselling. Fit, finish, and function is good...and I couldn't justify the $$$ for a smart cap or...
Installed some 6.5" Kicker KS lower dash speakers and enclosure pods to go with the same pair in the sound bar and Audio Uprising upper dash speakers (80mm with 20mm tweeters). I knew going in you have to remove a lot of stuff to get to the lower dash speakers, but it does feel like you're...
I used this one. It goes fast so I had to pause and rewind steps a bunch. There's a couple times where he skips a plug in, but it's at points where there is a free connector sitting right next to the spot it fits into. Cross referenced with the paper instructions and wiring diagram as I went...
Got rid of the 7 inch uconnect and installed a Stinger Heigh10+. Was very happy that everything worked on the first try as there are so many wires, connections, and cable routing and I've never done any radio/sound install work other than plug-and-play speakers. Nice to have all the capabilities...
I started getting periodic death wobble at 55k miles. I had bought some low mileage take off shocks for my Mojave and the guy threw in a track bar that came off with the shocks. I swapped out the track bar and that pretty much got rid of the issue. I had already purchased an aftermarket drag...
I've been part of other enthusiast non-Jeep forums in the past with other vehicles and this was the mentality. Unless you were machining, welding, cutting, etc. your own parts, it was not "built". Any off the shelf bolt on mod was considered bought, not built.
Installed the Powerstop Z36 brake kit. Rear driver rotor put up a VERY good fight. Took adjusting parking brake, WD-40, blow torch, and small sledge to break it free. Never experienced that on a Colorado vehicle. Anti seize for sure on the install. Anyways, brakes work well.
Mine came faster than expected. Threw them on the truck, look good, and worked as expected. I would say a quick install, but I had my 4 year old daughter "helping" me 😀
I bought Duralast platinum elite batteries from a local auto part store for around 450 total. Main battery has a 5 year warranty and aux has 3 year. You could also chose something like optima or odyssey for a bit more money.
There are plenty of videos on YT that you can follow for swapping...
Ordered a set of these last night and guess a lot of people jumped on them as they were already on back order. Luckily the smoked version I wanted was only a week out. The red ones were listed as May restock.
I just put on Mojave X springs in the rear with airlift 1000 air bags on my 2021 Mojave. Haven't loaded it up yet, but brought the rear back up for the amount I carry on a daily basis (prob 100-150 lbs). Rides really well.
I threw on the rears only and gained about an inch between the springs and airlift bags set at 5psi. Have about a 1/2" rake now, which I prefer over a bit of squat. Rides really nice. I'll save the fronts for a future date depending on ride or if I add a bumper/winch
I had the same issue this winter....2021 on original batteries with remote start not working, but started just fine with push button ignition. I replaced both main and aux batteries and works fine now.
Bringing back an old thread to get some opinions. I'm going to install Airlift 1000s on the rear of my 2021 Mojave for towing and when I put heavier loads in the bed. I bought some low mileage take off Mojave shocks to replace mine rather than rebuild, and the guy I bought from threw in Mojave X...
