Got rid of the 7 inch uconnect and installed a Stinger Heigh10+. Was very happy that everything worked on the first try as there are so many wires, connections, and cable routing and I've never done any radio/sound install work other than plug-and-play speakers. Nice to have all the capabilities the stinger brings, especially wireless car play and being able to actually see what's on the screen!

I used this one. It goes fast so I had to pause and rewind steps a bunch. There's a couple times where he skips a plug in, but it's at points where there is a free connector sitting right next to the spot it fits into. Cross referenced with the paper instructions and wiring diagram as I went. Took me about 3.5 hours.

Did you gain offroad pages, as the 7” doesn’t have them? I have a 7 and would love that.

Yes, all of the vehicle information pages work. Example below (mine automatically loaded a gladiator shown rather than a wrangler)

That’s really nice. Thanks.

A future upgrade, Z-Automotive aux kit to add the factory locker switch. Anyone have one and have an Adventure Labs winch disconnect mount, or a different mount that is tested compatible. It's looking really close for a fit, but hoping someone has done this before and can verify fitment? TIA.

Edit: The obvious solution for me is to drill 2 new holes in the mounting plate and scoot the switch forward. Its the easiest fix, maybe 20-30 minutes tops.

Finally got around to installing the Quadratec Headliner Kit and threw on some NXTGen Blind Spot Mirrors. Also got the solar gland and the Renogy 200W Shadowflux from my old truck installed to power my Bluetti AC200L. It was a bit unnerving drilling a huge hole in my Alu-Cab Contour Canopy, but hopefully the sikaflex will keep the water out.

I can understand the concern of drilling holes. I moved to house battery and solar system to the bed in mine. 2 holes drilled for the solar panels wires.

I put the holes on front of the topper behind the panel. A Amazon special bed molle panel I modified to cover window of topper. After a hail storm damage I will probably have to replace the panels for it also. :( 5 solar panels damaged. 3 on my Gladiator and 2 for my Scamp.

Front diff was a lil dark and Grey.
Rear diff came out golden. Then I found this lil fella on the plug magnet.

Guess the magnet is doing it's job, but WTF is it from?

Hopefully it does NOT become catastrophic
A stupid wildass guess is part of Rubicon locker switch bracket or like.

As I was in the engine bay, cleaning up the baked on Moab dirt from last year, noticed the cable loom around the positive cable for the winch was disintegrating everywhere and where it is near metal brackets, was starting to rub. A quick trip to the store, replaced the cable loom, zip tied everything up again and it's ready to go again. Also noticed the front frame rail just behind the bumper is almost bleached out from the South Texas heat and sun. It'll get a nice coat of paint soon. 6.5 years, it's time to start looking at parts more closely, more frequently.

New Tires. Slightly wider, but not taller.

What a difference tread pattern makes for a truck. No one expects everyone to go oversized, but I really like the look of a more aggressive tread. Just like I like how directional Michelins look on a car.

Sport S 4.10.
Drove great all week. I have noticed that my harmonic hum vibration has been gone for the last 40k miles, and is still gone. Maybe it fixed itself by shedding that shard:facepalm:

This reminds me of a prank we played on a guy. Attached big zip ties to his drive shaft. Alternated the pig tails so when he started off it made a heck of a racket on the tub. Freaked him out and as they started to break off he said” Listen it’s fixing itself!!”. He didn’t live that one down very soon.
