Had mine done a month and a half ago or so. The TSB fix did the trick. To aid your position, look at the top of the bottom spring pad. Mine had impact marks / circular rust areas. I didn’t get any guff from the dealer.

I agree with the parking pawl. I have the Diesel engine. When I shift into park, the torque of the motor loads the drivetrain and suspension.
