I did the Dual Friction - mainly because I tow. It requires more pedal effort but I got used to it in a couple days and don’t even notice now. It’s an entirely different beast now. Highly recommend the upgrade.

I love 5.13 gearing. I never feel over geared. In the Mountains of Montana, Wyoming and Idaho, loaded with gear and people I felt like 5.38 gears ⚙️ would have helped climb the mountains. Good luck ! ?

I think dual mass design can shift a bit easier even even when not completely disengaged. That said this has affected a small sample size I suspect Jeep bean counters just want to kill the manual transmission and make it go away. My guess is that they starved the engineering team of resources...
