Well…should have listened to everyone else when they said, “if you’re contemplating between 37’s and 35’s, just go 37. I didn’t listen and went 35’s. Ran em for a few months and sold them for 37’s. Hahaha!
Since you mentioned you have a tonneau cover....I keep these three things in the bed of my truck under mine. They make life pretty easy to store straps, bungees, gloves...etc as well as groceries and the pole makes grabbing stuff that has shifted around super easy...
I hear ya. They are rated to 350# dynamic and 700# static. For my needs, i won't have more than 150#-200# at most up there. I don't need it for a tent, just some gear boxes when I take the family camping and some recovery gear when I wheel.
Not crazy about the "look" of the brackets either so...
Just installed the new @Max Modular 18" Aluminum rack with the steeper sides that they made specifically for the JT. Very happy with the product support I recieved from them. They checked their computer model to see if my cover would have a chance of flipping open and it does! Quality was great...
No need to touch the body mount bolts. They have a hole for it to sit in. The two small bolts to the side of the main bolt get attached and then you have to drill some additional holes.
Anyone that has a pair of KC Apollo Pro's....you can totally swap the H3 Bulb out for and LED. I just did it with mine. Very easy, just twist the rock cover off, unclip the lights and spring clamp and connect the new bulb. Can't say yet how bright they will be, but I don't wheel at night so I...
It arrived on a freight truck with a liftgate, so the guy was cool with it. I had to immediately run out right afterwards. I’ll shoot some pics soon. Trust me I wanna see them too!
